@tundrahok I’m looking at it in terms of Saturday. Villanova knows KU only has 1 good post player which Nova lacks. I can imagine the gameplan will be to double Dedric when he gets the ball and go at him on offense to draw fouls. Wright has out-coached Self in both recent meetings so you know he’s going to zero on something for Saturday. The first game without Doke didn’t really expose the fact that if Dedric can’t play 30-35 minutes a game this KU team is in a world of trouble.

@HighEliteMajor Kemper and surrounding area (except for the Golden Ox) was a dump with not a good seat in the house, The Sprint Center is the opposite, good view even from the cheap seats and the Power and Light District is orders of magnitude better. Attended many Big 8 games at Kemper and have good memories of the games but not necessarily of the place.

I watched a little bit of it. I love me some Mike Leach.

Doke has two issues out of his control. He has to be careful about fouling when the post is fed or rebounding. KU has no significant backup for him. The 3’s cause long rebounds in many cases and are out of his reach. I know he is working on his rebounding game, but sometimes he just has to watch. Just IMHO…

I never understood why the entire state and KC Metro area was blacked out. Most smaller towns do not have a choice of cable providers and in the KC Metro area only TW and Comcast carry Metro Sports and the three other carriers, AT&T, Consolidated and Google, are left out; realistically, most people, even those not stuck in a contract, will not change providers for 6 games. Maybe they think AFH will not sell out which is utterly laughable. Whoever reviewed the contract probably never heard of the law of unintended consequences and in my opinion, the rules were just changed now that Zenger’s job is in jeopardy. This utter disregard for Kansans alone justifies firing Zenger.
