New 2019 Recruiting

@dylans think he tore his acl too
-
@dylans Yea he ended up at the right place. I think the thought when we offered was he would grow a bit too. His brother is a few inches taller than he is. Didn’t happen…

I think there is probably some truth to the height thing. He would be much more intriguing as a 6’3-4’’ 2G.
Agree that Depaul is a good fit for both sides.

We will miss Achiuwa’s talent but we won’t miss his baggage. To think after all that’s happened in the past two years that we are still going after guys like this just floors me.
I know if your not in the game your not competing but you’d think we’d be a bit careful. I see nothing’s changed!

Saw this. Wondering if we are more in it than some think.
I’d rather have Holyfield (which might be cray) but I’d take either in a second.

Norm is the untouchable assistant for me. In a perfect world, Snacks finds a HC job soon. Breaths new blood into the program and a good look in general.

Same. Look at recruiting pre- and post-Norm. Night and day. I love Danny (who doesn’t?) but his lack of recruiting killed us for a couple years.

I wanted Hurt, really don’t care much about Stanley.

Same. I don’t care who they trot out, if we can land Hampton/Tucker and another big (Holyfield/Precious) we’re going to mess them up big time. If we have Silvio and Doke in the front court, we’re going to flat wreck people. Those are two big freaking dudes. Vernon Carey is big but no way on Earth he can body up the big fella. And Silvio can hang with Hurt athletically. Obviously Precious and Holyfield would be terrific too.

Lolz. Daddy got his payday
-
@FarmerJayhawk and after the game, with mike on, coach k would whisper to doke it’s not very good sportsmanship to hang on the rim and stare down his players like that!

boy if we could get Precious or Holyfield to go along with Doke and McCormack - we be good in our front line. - - -Oh and possibly get Silvio eligible this Season - man frontline would be plenty Salty.
I think we are going to see better McCormick this year - -you could see the light starting to flicker in the latter part of the season - things starting to come around - I think he will be a huge 3-4 year player for us

100% agree. A three headed monster of Silvio, Doke, and McCormack, would be epic. We may win a lot of games 61-50 but it’ll be the most dominant 11 point win you’ll see.

Not sure the Stanleys rate the Zion pad.

@BShark you got it!

@BShark you think coach special K like Stan’s announcement video?

Miami just added Keith Stone as a grad transfer so not sure how much room they have for Enaruna now.

If we can’t beat out Creighton…
Though it wouldn’t be the first time…

They only had 6 scholarship players going into the signing period. Not sure that deters him from them but I’d love for that to actually be a thing that impacts a team like it seems to KU

Could be too that they felt they weren’t in it Seriously for Enaruna anymore. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
-
Enaruna is still a big need for Miami. They don’t have a SF on the roster
-
I think Creighton is out for Enaruna as they hosted a 3 star SG/SF prospect yesterday for an official visit and are likely to land him. Down to KU/Miami it looks. Both Adidas schools
-
He would be a very nice depth add. He does have the feel of a guy who may struggle to ever see meaningful minutes though. Unless he embraces becoming a stretch 4

From what I’ve seen, he’s definitely a college 4.

Agreed
-
If he wants to play immediately Miami is probably his best option. He didn’t even have a large role on his HS team from what I saw a few weeks ago when they played Oak Hill which has an entire D-1 roster. I see the upside with him but I think his readiness is being overblown at a place like KU. I wonder what his plan is now that he’s gotten a bunch of exposure and scouts interest
-
Cole Anthony to Roy.
Still not a great team with him but he makes them better
-
I think Enaruna is a guy that starts as a JR. Hopefully the huge exposure uptick didn’t inflate the ego of his circle.
From the beginning it was hard to imagine Cole Anthony playing literally anywhere else.
-
Who’s going to land McDaniels? Sounds like a potential high profile bust. 2 of our boys showing up on the 2020 draft board.
-
Not a ESPN + subscriber but if you are talking about Jaden McDaniels Washington has long been the favorite to land him, but I think Kentucky is still in there.
-
Most believe he ends up at Washington after Kentucky took the grad transfer from Bucknell.
-
Had to laugh yesterday when I seen a post that showed Cole Aldridge’s tweet - - Said Duke just became a luxury tax provider after getting commits from Hurt and Stanley - - -gotta love it . - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Bossi thinks Precious ends up at Memphis with Watford now leaning towards LSU with Wade back.

New here. Had to get away from the other boards that have devolved into nothing but incessant bickering, regardless of thread or topic.
Rock Chalk!

Yes and me neither, but I can read the articles for some reason.

Rock Chalk! Mostly civil here, but occasional squabbles do happen due to the passion of the fans. Nothing overboard though. Welcome to the fam.
-
@dylans Thanks! Based on the non-stop petulant arguments involving the same people again and again that I’ve been accustomed to at the other place, the occasional squabble will be a sight for sore eyes. Lol.
