Sorry bud - - but who is this KK Robinson?
-

BShark said:
Mokan is in the finals at Peach Jam.
Final is on ESPNU at 1
-
-
I think they’d only take one of Robinson and Davis. Too many midgets running around isn’t good for Bill’s (or anyone’s) defense.
-
@FarmerJayhawk Agree. Corey Evans posted contradictory info with KK. Honestly, might make me feel even better about our chances LOL.
-
Apparently Mane is eligible for the 2020 draft. Knowing that, I’d stay away.

I don’t think we’re really that involved given we’re after 5-6 other guards right now, depending on whether Harris stays in 2020.

Mokan win 85 to 84 in overtime over teamwhynot

What was the deal there? I didn’t see Harris play at all end game, caught it late at a Mexican restaurant
-

He reminds me of a point guard who I am not gonna name but @HighEliteMajor remembers super fondly. Feeds the post like a boss.
-
He’s a guy that Bill will play more than fans think he should.
-
Oh hey said PG was at this AAU game interesting
-
@BShark not a fan of him either, off the court stuff for me.
-
He’s probably scouting, huh?
-
@BShark oh I thought he was #5. I was looking for #5 but headband guy wasn’t #5. That’s probably it.

No he was # 13 - - wasn’t really that impressed with him either had a coup[l of senseless turnovers late fouls - -not impressed. - -Not impressed enough to use our 13th Scholi on.
On a side note mercy N - -was huge bif boy what he end up with? - -like 26 and 16 ? - -I know were not but wish we were in harder on Greene
-
Evan CB’d Harris to KU. Lock city
-
@FarmerJayhawk What does that mean?
-
@wissox Evan Daniels. Crystal Ball. Harris to KU basketball.
-
Daniels is rarely wrong because he usually waits until he’s heard the official word going around

So it sounds done but still the question of which class right?
-
Harris now shows as a 4 star prospect on 247, 107 overall

Yessir. I believe it’s grade dependent. If he can get all the coursework done and qualify, I think he ends up in 2019.

Would love to see that happen, red-shirt and ready to go next spring

Great news.
Sounds like jayballer is torn on this kid. He’s gonna wait and watch his offers blow up but also not worthy of the 13th scholarship. Really makes you think.

Wow got the KU bump before even committing smh
-
I guess I’ll trust u guys, seems like he was a back up and didn’t play much??

He played a lot look at the box scores. Great glue guard think Brady or Russ.
-
Harris can really play. He’ll be a giant pain in the ass for everyone in the league. While we may never wow you with athleticism, he just is good at basketball.
-
How confident are we that he reclassifies?
-
It’s grade and course completing dependent so nobody really knows for sure.
-
Reclassifying to redshirt is kinda funny. Hurry up and wait.

If he reclasses, redshirt? Or legit competition for McBride as the backup PG?
In my mind, he’s much more of a pure PG than McBride who I feel is more like a short Combo guard.
-
@Kcmatt7 I think redshirt. He’s not a guy that’s going to leave early so having an experienced PG on the roster when OAD goes away will be a big advantage.

Better to have him in Lawrence than Wichita.

Oh how we question lol. - - not really torn actually - -just me - -I would as soon leave it open - he just doesn’t wow me looks very ordinary - had some critical to’s late in the game - - forced passes - -yes I watched the entire game - -got beat on the drive while playing defense more then once resulting in a foul. - -just wasn’t really overwhelmed by his play - -never really heard the commentators talking about him much - -he did play a lot - -so I’m not gonna jump off a cliff cause we take him
As far as him waiting for his Scholi’s to blow up - -that’s coming from what others have said possible - - I just happen to agree I think IF he is all that like some are trying to make him out - -then ya like they say he will more likely then he will stay in 2020 -and get numerous offers.
You can throw all the shade ya want - - I know it sounds like a forked tongue - -I won’t be mad if he comes - -I won’t lose sleep if he doesn’t pretty much when it’s all said and done. - -The main thing I don’t want to see is us getting to a point where just offer to have that body. - -He redshirts? - -then possibly he can help - -as far as him challenging Mcbride this year - for back up point - - - -I don’t think Issac would have much to worry about. - - McBride is quicker - - Better shooter and good defensively - - There ya have it - -if he comes – WELCOME ABOARD - -make me a believer - - I mean he from Missouri right? - - Soooo SHOW ME - - lmao - -just having some fun guys don’t get your skivvies twisted. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
-
As a little side not to this guys - - - - just saw where Jerry Meyer and Cris Fisher both picked Harris to KU - -to go along with Evan - - CB said been 4 predictions - - haven’t seen the other - -but the CB has KU at 100 % - -so had to be a KU pick also - - there you go – -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
-
Okay, it is now time for Coach Marco to interpret and read between the lines, and it is as I predicted (I am also a crystal ball reader when it comes to moves that we will make after making moves… Lol). We already have McBride, and if we sign Harris - regardless of whether he is in 2019 or 2020 - we will not sign Nix or any other five star PG and I am fine with that - feed the horses! Now, if we are no longer targeting point guards who then besides Thompson and Todd should we be?
-
KU leads for Caleb Love.
-
@FarmerJayhawk Yeah, I saw that too. Prediction, we won’t sign him. We’ll already have two point guards who are both four stars and more than serviceable. No, scratch that, we’ll have three point guards if also including Garrett.
-
@Marco the staff wants at least 2 guards in 2020. If Harris doesn’t reclassify he’d be the third. They don’t want to rely on McBride as a 30 MPG guy as a sophomore. Harris won’t be ready to be the guy either. Love and Thompson are such good fits because they’re interchangeable on both ends. Both have the length to slide to the 3 in a small lineup. Chasing all these 6’0 ish guards doesn’t give us near the flexibility we want.

Big time
-
Love retweeted something about KU coaches being 4 deep for his game. Bodes well you would think.

Very much so. Get Love, Thompson, and Harris then call it good.
-
Bold Harris prediction - Reclassify redshirt transfer. Prove me wrong Missouri boi. Please be a diamond in the rough.
Color me jaded, but the 3-4 year guys I’d like are ranked 30-80.
-
@dylans Bold prediction, aside from what the KU staff might want @FarmerJayhawk - and I agree, Love is bigtime - we will have only McBride, Harris and Garrett as our depth point guards. So, let’s move on to the frontcourt, who?
-
@dylans Mostly posting this as a reminder to myself for later since I’m about to go to sleep.
Interesting range of 30-80. I’m curious now how many kids in that range do stay 3-4 years. I’ll do breakdowns tomorrow over the last few classes that apply (so starting with 2017) and tackling each group of 10 (30-39, 40-49 etc) and seeing the percentages. My gut instinct would be not a lot in the 30-50 range are there 4 years.
