Seems like these guys aren’t ready to leave KC quite yet… The front office owes it to the fans to chase one more. Time to buy. We need another starter and another bullpen arm. The first 6 batters in the lineup right now are absolutely killing it. As long as one of the bottom 3 guys are hitting, the offense is solid.
Dayton has done a good job in the past of bringing in good pen arms during the waiver period though. And with Duffy back we aren’t hurting for a starter. Essentially what I’m saying, don’t sell the farm for someone this year. If there is a right deal at a right time, do it. Like Bartolo Colon, could be a nice pickup for only $254k.

@Crimsonorblue22 Oh he would so fit in! You just don’t like him because he is so fat. He’s funny and goofy! Players would give him a hard time. He could be a 5th starter or long relief guy. Essentially Chris Young’s role with a better old guy.
Its super low risk low reward. If he fits in keep him if he doesn’t it cost you nothing and let him go.
Who are you willing to trade for someone better? Mondesi? Torres? Cuthbert? Those are probably our best trade pieces right now and all look like they will be important pieces of the future. DM is going to have to find some Diamonds in the rough.

@Crimsonorblue22 @globaljaybird Our day off cost us a half game as both the Tribe and Twins won today. On a positive note only a half game behind NYY for top WC spot. But we ain’t settling for a WC spot.

Glad to hear. I had my AC down a couple of weeks ago and it costed me $400 for 3 pounds of Freon, a ripoff no doubt but what can you do when your AC us down and the temperature is high?

@Crimsonorblue22 That’s why I have kept 2 small window units cause if ever have to wait a day or 2 at least the bedroom will be cool for sleeping. And you can usually pick them up for under $100.

@Crimsonorblue22 Yep, if you have normal up and down windows, sit it on the window sill, close the window down on top of it, pull the slides out on each side of the a/c unit to seal the opening and plug into 110. There’s not much weight to them.

@Crimsonorblue22 Did that mean crank windows? You could get a portable room a/c for your bedroom. They are a little more expensive, and just be careful the drain hose doesn’t get plugged.
