Can't wait for Tamin Linsey to be done in college basketball. He is unwatchable. For a 'tough, gritty, hard-nosed defender'...he is a world-class flopper. It's exhausting to watch and unfathomable that he gets the calls he gets.

Chad Baker-Mazara was dismissed from the USC men’s basketball team yesterday after an internal investigation determined he falsified his birth certificate.
An anonymous tip reportedly suggested that the Dominican native is actually 32 years old and a father of 4.

I’m sure their is more details to this but with guys getting 8
Or 9 years to play college ball and coming back from the G league to do so, this may as well be legal at this point. -
Anyone watch the Miami vs Ohio game? Miami completes the first perfect regular season since 2021 Gonzaga. I really think this team is in for a ride awakening most likely in their conference tournament. They had 3 technical fouls and one intentional. Went over to the Ohio student section after the buzz to talk smack. I thought there was going to be brawl for a little bit. They’ve kinda gone from media darling to hated by most with their antics.

Meanwhile Darryn gets pulled and it's a foul on Darryn

@kjayhawks2.0 I understand your take, but Miami had things thrown at them throughout the game by their rival Ohio.

Shaka Smart beating Dan Hurley wasn't on anyone's bingo card

@RockChalkinTexas-0 2 of my favorite guys

@kjayhawks2.0 All I know is there has been quite a bit of roundtable discussion on whether id they should even get an invitation say they get knocked off in their tournament or not'
the question has been brought up should they get an at large entry even with one loss over a team that say like a larger power conference that's just out of the tourney or right there .The main complaint is that while what thirty two wins they say is- ----they haven't played anybody on their schedule while a major P-4 who has a pretty decent season and in a questionable spot making the tourney. The counter point is being Miami has played who was on their schedule, and the rebuttal is They had every opportunity to schedule a tougher non con
So what's everyone think ? should they OR should they not get the at large even if they get knocked off in their Conference tourney ?

@ROCKCHALK2025 yes the but their 31-0 is laughable and they had to know it looking at their schedule. They played 2 or 3 teams in the regular season that aren’t even D1. Couple that with zero P4 opponents and they knew what they was doing.
-
@JoJoAndMe I’m sure they were pretty wild but there is pictures all over X with half the team over there flipping them the bird. They won the only thing that matters in the game show a little class imo.

It is repeated in many stories that Miami tried to schedule P5 schools, but everyone turned them down. Many low tier schools say that, however, but often they want reciprocal games and most P5 schools won't commit to that. I have asked on The Athletic boards if Miami had offered just to play P5 away games, but no one seemed to know.
I'd let them in, even with a conf tourney loss, before allowing P5 teams in who are below midpoint in their conferences, or have losing conference records. Maybe teams with predictably easy schedules shouldn't be rewarded for great W/L records, but P5 teams likewise shouldn't be rewarded just for having joined a conference where they aren't competetive.
Edit: I say P5 but TBH I lost track long ago.

@mayjay I think they should be in at this point but I see them getting destroyed by the first real team. I realize upsets happen every year but usually the mid major that does upset played a good schedule most the time with with a few P4 road games.

BYU won! Who do we play and when?
