No PG HAVOC vs Hobbled PG Game Thread

Good grief Landen
-
@stoptheflop again, what do they think they are going to do on Tuesday against real pressure. For supposedly being experienced upperclassmen, they sure don’t look the part.
-
@globaljaybird
Mitch is playing well.
-
Mitch ready
-
Lucas can’t handle Shaq
-
@BShark gotta deny the rock that low in paint
-
@BShark said:
Lucas can’t handle Shaq
We haven’t been able to handle any halfway decent bigs all year…
-
That more like it!
-
@DCHawker no, we haven’t been able to contain dribble penetration all year - bigs scoring is a result of penetration.
-
No doubt. I was trying to caution people on Lucas since he had been doing well against teams with bad bigs.
-
A fair bit of this is just dump the ball to whoever Lucas is guarding. Bruce figured it out (but a little late).
-
The good news: This team is explosive.
The bad news: This team is collapsable.
-
DG
-
7 -11 from 3 — just 5-15 from 2. Shooting the long ball is the only thing we’re doing well right now…
-
Neither BIFM, nor Graham look hobbled to me.
-
@BShark one on one in the post is a difficult guard for just about every big in the country. Hicks and Meeks get scored on also. Unless you have Wilt or the Unibrow, it is going to be tough.
-
Jackson is awfully quiet with just 5 points. Lucas 0 points.
-
Yep Lucas, Frank and Josh all contributing to the missed 2s.
-
Dirty boy Eric Davis
-
Intentional foul please
-
@DCHawker denying the entry pass from the wing or point would help considerably. Defense is too inconsistent to do that. If our perimeter guys are lazy then it will take Shaq to make up for it. LL does a PDGJ of staying outta foul trouble.
-
@globaljaybird great post man.
-
@globaljaybird
Yeah Lucas knows he can’t afford to foul out.
-
Bragg soft again. Sigh
-
Lucas can never score on Allen LOL
-
@BShark he needs better spacing and positioning to score.
-
Our bigs getting embarrassed out there.
-
@BShark Bragg put that damn right back down & lost it again. It doesn’t 't take an Einstein to figure that out.
-
Good thing we didn’t play west Virginia today - it would be ugly
-
Same WVU that has multiple conference losses? Meh.
-
Does anyone know if the staff works with Bragg on post moves? He acts like he has never done it before.
-
I wonder how Bragg would be doing under Manning.
-
@HawkChamp that is Norm’s job.
-
@BShark they were not amped up to play oU. They are always ready to play us
-
I figure we lose in Morgantown but I’m just not sold on WVU as a FF capable team.
-
@RockChalkinTexas well, I don’t know what is going on but his post game sucks right now. Someone has to be accountable for that
-
Allen is playing with confidence and skill today. He looks like a completely different player than in other games this year.
-
@BShark not any better!
-
Need to get the crowd amped up to start the half. Rattle UT and keep the pedal to the metal.
-
I’m not convinced.
-
@BShark If this was WV and we had this many TOs, it would be a bit more understandable… but we would also be trailing …
-
LL ghost like on offense. We are letting a team that stinks offensively shoot 47% in our building. Allen already has a DD.
-
@BShark watch wake, they do same stuff
-
@HawkChamp We’ll be fine when we play em. Likely split & the rubber match at Sprint like last year. I seriously doubt anyone wins conf with less than 3 losses- maybe even 4 JMO
-
This is what happens when Lucas goes against good bigs unfortunately.
-
I’m still waiting on Josh to have a breakout B12 game. I thought it would be today. Guess not.
-
@kjayhawks well, again our guys decided the game was over and just didn’t care to finish the half. That attitude is frustrating to behold. The difference was night and day
-
Wake isn’t great but John Collins has really developed under Danny. I feel like it’s been a bit of a lacking aspect at KU since he left.
-
@stoptheflop Still could happen. This would be a great opportunity for JJ to make a statement.
-
@globaljaybird but there is no reason to lose AGAIN to them. This year would make it four in a row. We have more talent, better shooters, and plenty of experience against their press.
