Yep. Honestly all year they have been mostly great especially considering how the offense is not good at ball control/playing slow.

There is clearly some kind of rift between the coaches and Willis. I bet he transfers.

@kjayhawks or just tell Stanley to say F— it and start letting it rip. Either way, at some point our coaches have to let one of these QBs go win a game and call vertical plays. A pick 30 yards down the field is as good as our punter…

Hard for any QB to be good with this oline tbf. And Willis is a pocket passer. If he does transfer, I wish him the best and I hope it’s to a good situation/offensive scheme for him.

@kjayhawks I’d love to see a flea flicker or a wildcat set or a hook and latter or really anything that is telling me we are actually trying to score. Nobody can cover Sims 1v1, throw 3 straight bombs to him and see what happens. Idc, but lets change what has scored us 0 points so far

@BShark He’s a D2 QB. Someone will be happy to get him probably. But he is definitely not a P5 caliber QB.

Considering how long UT went between good QBs (I do think this FR for them will be great in the future) I don’t hold out a ton of hope for KU at the position.
Also, everything is frustrating when the team is so bad but I really don’t feel like KU’s offensive scheme is a way to be successful with a talent disadvantage. It’s so dependent on having a good QB and doesn’t shorten the game at all.
