and made it home in time to see top of 5th. Fell asleep when it was 4-4 in the 12th. Was so happy to find out they won when I got up this morning.

Formula One race was here last weekend. On Monday during my noon walk I had on my Jayhawk earrings and necklace. Some tourists asked me if I was from here and asked for directions to the river and after the directions, the guy’s wife said I saw your earrings. They were from Wisconsin and said they were huge Bo fans and were wondering what lies ahead for their team after he retires. They complimented our program and wished us luck! Good people. They had a friend with them from England who had come to see Sir Elton John perform after the race.

I am so happy for Hosmer…He is perhaps my favorite Royal player and had he not hit the sacrifice fly to win the game, he would have been the goat because of his error earlier.
