Someone tried to break into my garage last night

@approxinfinity Man, that’s too bad. I’m glad it wasn’t worse though. It’s one thing if something happens at a mall or whatever, but it hits home pretty hard when it’s at your own home. Do you have any cameras or security?

Thanks guys. I am hoping to find a neighbor with footage, will ask around a little more this evening. This was a targeted thing hitting a specific door that was dark. Judging by lack of footage i think i know the path taken.
By our cameras combined… I AM CAPTAIN PARANOIA!

The dobermans piranhas crocodiles goshawks and manticores were all at the pet shop for grooming unfortunately

Hopefully they don’t return and I can imagine you will be on edge for a bit. Glad nothing worse happened. Too bad there’s nobody to send that nice new door bill to!

@BeddieKU23 i intend to figure out who did it and make them or their mom pay for it. This is a solvable problem with limited suspects.

Sorry to hear that buddy. my wife and I have been through things like that too. My wife called me one afternoon when I was still working and said a guy had tried breaking in our back door right in the middle of the afternoon, not that uncommon in our area.
She said she went in the back where she heard the noise and this guy was half in and half out of our house and believe it or not it was our Min- Pin that ended up scaring him out- --some people- - Glad you all are ok.

We have a blink camera system thru Amazon, like $250 for 4 cameras and the service is $10 a month. We have had if for years and like it. You can talk on them as well like when my kids friends beat on the door for 10 minutes I can tell them we ain’t home.

Unfortunately common problem. I hope it was just kids, then it can be a teaching moment. A really sucky one, but it beats the end of the road being currently traveled.
