Do you know any updates on Elmarko’s recovery? He should be close to being cleared based on Self’s previous updates, correct.

I won’t even bother to say anything when they lose unless it’s at Self who has assembled and judged talent really poorly
He needs to ride off into the sunset before he’s running Diggy at point, and calling late game iso plays for Flory when we have DP next year

Not yet, I think we will probably hear an update on him once the season is concluded.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I’ve been told he is close to a 100% and is doing non contact stuff. Hearing as soon as off season begins he will be 100% or very close to it.

Says he will be out a few months more, hopeful ready for summer workouts.
We can just put a giant kibosh right now about him being a factor for next year.
Hopefully they will treat him like he’s the 14th guy and recruit over to fill the gaps we will have at the 4 and behind Flory (hopefully).
Another not ideal situation occuring similar to Elmarko’s last year. They have time to adjust at least

Minnesota just fired their coach. One player that stands out to me as a potential back up for Flory is Frank Mitchell. He started his career at Canisius where he led the MAAC in rebounding a couple of seasons ago. A PER of 19.6 last season while averaging 5 and 5 in while playing 16 mpg would be ideal production from a back up post player. He was 66.3% from the field last season so he doesn’t take a lot of bad shots. He is only a 40% FT shooter so not someone you’d want on the floor in crunch time, but that’s probably the biggest weakness in his game.
With the news about Tiller, KU is going to need a lot of post depth and Mitchell would appear to be a guy that fill that role nicely behind Flory. If Mitchell enters the portal, that’s a name I would be contacting to gauge interest his in backing up Flory.

I fully expect KU to sign 3 bigs in the portal if we count the 4 spot as a big.
