Here is a perfect example what football has become , so frustrating

Holy Dog crap. Guys I just read this piece and even for me the ordinary average run of the mill fan this has become so frustrating it makes even me want to just throw my arms up and say screw sports - this crap has ruined College Sports. It’s really no fun anymore, it is no longer a game, players thinking about rivals , it’s a business , it’s who can make the most money with these kids.
This example is about a particular football example but , we know it’s happening in Basketball too. Now this case is the example.
So OK here it is the situation I’m talking about. - -There is a player, playing for Florida Gators he told Florida he wanted some guarantees , he told the School that he wanted 45,000 a month to play for them – - he wants a guaranteed starting position at OLB- - - he wants guaranteed to be able to play on third down & – -he wants more snaps in the rotation. What the hell has happened to the game, the sport, it’s just been ruined. The Players name is Jack Pyburn.
This dam portal & NIL has absolutely destroyed College sports. I’m telling you if something doesn’t change what your going to see is that some or maybe a lot of the College Coach’s are finally just going to say scree this , I don’t need this stress and headaches, Think about it these College Coach’s spend so much time and effort evaluating prospects, out on the road recruiting , then working camps , and practices and such , and now this is what the game has become ? – You could very easily see Coach’s just saying the hell with this, they are to the point now where these players are holding Coach’s /Schools hostage until they meet the players demands Hell even now think about this the Coach recruits a big five star High School recruit , say a QB---- RB- - - Receiver, whatever the case even with this kid not having stepped onto the field at College still now making ridiculous demands before he commits. The game is ruined…
You got kids not wanting to compete for their spot on their team , they just want it given - - what the hell is wrong with that picture ? - -Same way in Basketball - -All this has done it is now like a trickle down effect just like the Pro’s it’s all about the money. They don’t care about the School , the Coach , the hunger for the game- -it’s all about MONEY -again this Portal BS and NIL is the worst thing possible, they better be careful or there won’t be any College sports.

@SlimShaddy54 this right here - KUBUCKETS -is your only hope. You can vent and feel slightly better for 3 seconds. No college or professional sports organizations will do a thing. No government agency will do anything. “We” just elected a convicted criminal as president of the United States!
This is the way of the world. It’s going to get worse.
Mark my words - 5 years from now no one will watch any sports on TV without paying for it

I undestand we are in the age where chances are greater then not that we have to pay to watch sports BUT the point is a per pro sports as long as these idiotic owners keep tossing around these millions of dollars at their players , it’s us as the fans are the one’s having to pay for those actions.
they are pricing your middle class population not even b able to afford to go watch one of our favorite pastimes,- - Now the College scene is following suit. Hell I can remember being able to go to a foot ball game walk up and buy a ticket for 16.00 dollars and Basketball wasn’t far behind. Now with this dam revenue sharing /NIL these prices are going to sky rocket even more & it’s the fans are the one’s that are/will have to carry the burden from these actions.
I can remember watching the entire Big 8 tourney my brother and I would get tickets for the entire tourney and pay less then 100.00 or there abouts - -now you can’t even buy a session for that.- -just has got totally out of hand. Those were the days, use to spend quality time at I believe it was called the Golden Ox ?- right there be Kemper, be able to watch games , go to the Ox get something to eat , have a drink - - -then have another drink - - then have another drink and would be good to go lmao

Keep those kids off my lawn! Where’s my 50 cent beer? Dammit, Mabel, no, we won’t get one of them there new-fangled Touch Tone telephones–just crank it and tell the operator who you want to talk to. And who, fer cryin’ out loud, said we had to let those damned ath-e-leets negotiate? By Gawd, the world is comin’ apart at the seams. Next thing you know, peeple’ll be demandin’ not to wear suits to work. So blasted hard to get used to things these days.
