@kuballin10 Kentucky doesn’t really run anything. They just drive or Jack shots and then run to the rim. They are super athletes though so that can work. Especially if even the wild shots are falling.

Curious to see what Bill changed defensively
Last time in this building we were down around 7 to Miami…came out and won by 20! Self made 1-2 adjustments and their offense crippled
Let’s see it again I mean after all they are just freshman with no big game experience and that should mean EVERYTHING to who wins (sarcasm)

Think they are almost better off without the bigs? Have to play modern ball which has been an issue for Cal. Dillingham will be in the NBA soon lol.
Hoping next year we can be more athletic. Marko returning would be huge, Furph gets stronger, athletic class coming in.

Our guys don’t play athletic due to Self’s system. He needs guys 3 years in like Och, Braun or the 08 team to then play freely
It doesn’t work with the portal
Don’t get ur hopes up for us next year cause Flory can’t play freely when he’s thinking about what to do constantly

They sent 3 or 4 at Hunter every time the ball was thrown his way. At some point you gotta adjust and start sending cutters or run the sets that set up lobs or inside position where you get the weakside help out the lane. Need to make Hunter either the guy or the guy getting someone an open look.

They acclimate and are rolling this year
More I’ve watched for 30 years and seen Self it’s the complexity of it…takes time to pick up so we play robotic and not free flowing initially
