Manhattan Jaspers, Who?
-
Furphy
-
Love this kid. Plays hard. He’s everywhere. He’s a baller
-
That was a dirty play
-
We look really good against this level of competition. Good for confidence next week.
-
Like our free throws. So much better than last year.
-
Hopefully this is the start to a very good weekend for KU sports
-
19 assists. 10 turns. 9 blocks. 36 rbs
-
Parker Braun is not bad
-
Jank might be more reliable than Timberlake

Was gonna say the same thing
-
OK, Nick, that was a pretty nice 12 footer
-
El Marko starting to loosen up a bit. Looks good too!
-
What can you say? I think this team is pretty good

If Parker is not bad, could we also say he’s good?
-
@stoptheflop We could not in good faith go so far quite yet
-
So hard to gauge against this type of competition. I think the team could be very very good when it matters
-
Like the looks of this team. Competition for playing time is in effect.
-
Good that our frosh get extended playing time and McDowell is nice.
-
McDowell is going to be really good by the time he’s done
-
I have the feeling this will be one of my favorite KU teams. I just get that vibe. I like all these dudes
-
Is it just me or does Elmarko look like JayZ?

Travis Releford tough.
-
@dylans slightly scowlier but yep
-
Quite the line for Christian’s brother: 4/4, 5 rbs, 3 blks and 10 pts. He good!
-
“I don’t see it with Furphy” geniuses reacting to him playing while still hurt against Hays.

I’m ready to play him over #25 this year.
-
Elmarko and McDowell sporting baby blue sneakers.

Not naming names, but someone on this board.

@RockChalkinTexas Looks teal on my tv. - I kinda wonder if the bright shoes contributed to the early travel call. (Hard to miss)
-
Wilhite!
-
Coolwhip Wilhite Coolwhip Wilhite Oh no
-
Jank is actually a good basketball player
-
Man, 99 two games in a row! damn
-
@KirkIsMyHinrich They tried to hit 100 tonight! I figured they would hold the ball. Glad they shot it.
-
Okay see you all in 14 hours
-
Okay that was good. Looked like Elmarko felt something click.
-
10 dimes for Elmarko tonight

My 8 year old is so disappointed we couldn’t get to 100 again lol

He is better with the ball in his hands and Bill let him do that a bit tonight. Obviously Juan will continue to be the guy.

Hawktease!

Still playing 4th set in Ames.
-
Ole Bill likes what he has. All defined roles this early, already good chemistry, strong team defense. It might be rough the nights we don’t shoot great but we’re #1 for some good reasons.
-
We play Chaminade on my birthday!!!
-
Don’t think we saw Kev/Juan/HD after the 13 minute mark. LOVE that. Team also won that stretch by 5 and probably closer to 10 before the major walk-on minutes.
-
5th set in Ames. Go Hawks
-
Back to students sitting courtside (for the last time this year), Michigan St is like Cameron in that the first 10 rows around the court is student seating. The section above the student seating is elevated so the alums can sit and still see if the students stand. A thread on Rupp Rafters discussed the same thing I mention and the posters complained there was no energy for most games at Rupp with the alums sitting courtside. Nuff said.

I just wanna say and don’t take this wrong and I realize the opponent but I think e have some back up players that can really give us some help for periods of time without a lot of drop off.
1st, I am really liking Furphy. He shows no hesitation , got a nice shot and looks solid. you realize this kid is still suppose to be in High School right? - -Parker Braun is little athletic - -little better then what I thought - -I realize Jackson hasn’t been a back up but very solid - - McDowell did ok for the time he was in. They just played solid , but I’m impressed with Furphy
-
@KirkIsMyHinrich I’m not good at math but does that mean we’re averaging 99 points a game? What if we do that all season?
