Kease is locked in. Not running from the grind at all. And believe me, other teams tried.

Boy I had been worried on him for a while and was scared to ask…

Never been a doubt.
The main guy tied to him (will be here in Lawrence when Kease moves in) told me his phone was on fire when KU signed Storr and he politely told them all no chance.
-
For anyone looking into a peek behind the curtains about avoiding tampering allegations… He said there was a lot of like…parents of players on various programs reaching out for the coaching staff to gauge interest.
-
Well for at least a year we got him locked in. Really want to see him grow here, big fan of his game but hard to even care now. I hope Bill still finds some kids that want to be at KU
-
@BeddieKU23 Two year plan but yes we will see.

Gladly take 2 yrs with no worries

fully realize it was all star game Flory - playing in Indiana and big jump to P-5 basketball, but finished really impressive -Flory finished with 34 points- - -22 rebounds - -& 3 blocked shots. Not a bad nights work
-
I’m super stoked about him. He’s so excited, loves coach and ripe for learning! Got the tools!

Athletic but not overly skilled. I don’t expect too much early on.

Flory is going to be a strong rebounder and possibly a strong rim protector from day 1. His offensive game leaves a lot to be desired so him playing back up minutes to Hunter is a good role for Flory this year to maximize his strengths and hide his current weaknesses.
-
That dude would be in the rotation. My goodness
-
@BeddieKU23 what year is this guy? I saw in another thread that he play in the Greek Leauge? Is he even eligible?
-
@rockchalkwyo - he was born 2006, so he’s 18 now. I assume this year’s class not next. No idea regarding the pro issue.
-
woder how serious this might be. - Legit serious or just reaching out feelers ?
-
Sounds like some contact a while back but hasn’t gone anywhere. I think we can go back to our day jobs now…
-
Dam 5 * Jeremiah Fear is re-opening his recruitment - -Originally committed to Illinois , but re-opening recruitment and -re-classifying to 2024. Chose Illinois over Providence , Ol Miss , Michigan - & KU
I think it would be to late for him here at KU right ? - -with the 2 guard we have here now , he should of committed to us from the get go , I don’t think we try to recruit again for this year, & I don’t think he would come here to play a reserve role this year do you ?
-
@jayballer67 Not sure if we could use him. Not sure why people would want to play for Underwood. He just doesn’t seem like all that pleasant of a dude.
Fears’ brother was playing for MSU when he got shot in Joliet, not fatally, but cost him the rest of the season.
Not many clues at the Champaign Room of why he backed out.

I agree with you, earlier then ye we could have used him good player – just don’t think it fits now

Providence there
-
Got some high scoring guy from Northern Illinois David Coit. 5’11" guard who average 20 points per last year on a poor team. NIU is my grandmothers, wifes and nieces alma mater not that thats important to you but important to me.

I wonder what happened with NIU, whole team ended up in the portal. Their top 3 players ended up at Kansas, Wisconsin and…Georgia State. Guess that’s just how it is for mid majors now.

@BShark Even though it’s kind of a local school for me it’s really under the radar here so really not sure why.
