This isn’t a shock. And while I think NIL is great, the NCAA shouldn’t have gone from zero to 100 overnight.

So the checks aren’t cashing…we need a KU T. Boone Pickens to step in and take care of our guys. I heard Oscar is making 2 mil a year.

There’s kids making millions while playing for their school. What could go wrong.
Oscar is making 2 mil. What’s stopping him from becoming a booster and paying some friend of his to come to Kentucky? Or slip a few bills into the pockets of Mr. 5 star making his official visit?

Not going to happen. They can legally get it from other sources at the university. If I had the $$$, I could say I want a picture of the player, and pay them whatever I wanted to for it. If I wanted to pay them a ridiculous amount, then I could do it with no problem. They just announced here in Houston that the whole team (Houston Cougars) was/were getting a 6 figure deal from a local business. They showed the whole team out at a swanky restaurant celebrating their windfall on local news last night.
