Anyone else watching UM at IU?
Michigan a wierd situation. I think the most talented B1G team. But they don’t play like it often enough. Currently “last 4 in”

Ended up being worth the watch. Wolverines let it slip away and may have put the nail the proverbial coffin as their tourney hopes are concerned

Did anyone watch the Houston / Memphis game? I have a question about that final play-- it looked like the Houston player used his arm to clear out the defender and get a clear shot… I thought that was an offensive foul… Did anyone else see that? (It loomed large as the shot hit with no time left on the clock and Houston won.)

Yeah. I heard them say something like – ‘he was able to get off an open shot’. Yeah… open because he cleared out the defender. That’s a bad no call.
I understand there is only 1 second left and it would likely give Memphis the win, provided he can hit 1 FT. But that would be fair because the shot was taken with an unfair advantage.
I can’t help but think of the recent game where the crew called like 7 offensive fouls in one half on us. We know that crews can call offensive fouls. Somewhere between calling 7 on a team in a half and no call when it determines the game would be nice.

I think we’d all be happy with just consistency throughout a game. It’s certainly a human element. But the game is not about you. Don’t put your handprint on it by altering the way or when or when on the clock you whistle. Right?

Maybe those refs were Bengals or Eagles fans and believe that no fouls should ever be called near the end of the game. “Let the players decide it!” snort…

I thought it was a push off but I know as a fact that MJ didn’t push off against the Jazz when he made that winning shot!

Ol Tristan going off for Cleveland State. - -Has 17 points, hit a three would of given him twenty. - -They said he didn’t get it off in time , they were right.
They made a comment saying that they believe that Tristan could make history if Cleveland State wins and makes the NCAA Tourney. - Tristan would be the 1st player in the NCAA - to go to three consecutive NCAA tourney games in three straight years with Three different Teams. - Said they had been digging and had confirmed with the NCAA – -crazy good for him

Ok, watched some Zags/St Marys. Came away not impressed with either. Get a definite mid-major vibe here. On the other hand, ORU is a pretty good team. Love the way they defend, and attack on offense. Pretty good athleticism, and they have a 7+ footer. Definite potential bracket buster. Paul Mills is on the rise.

Watch out for Marquette - wouldn’t necessarily want to see them for at least awhile

@Jethro ORU also has a former Jayhawk on tge roster. Isaac McBride who was here for his freshman season and was 2nd Team All-Summitt this season.
St. Mary’s has a defense that can give KU fits and they play at a snail’s pace. KU is a better team, but SMC could dirty that game up enough to give them a shot.

@Jethro 2 bucks on stubhub got me in the 2nd row. They just let everyone sit where they wanted. Badgers down 27, got it down to 4 but obviously couldn’t get it finished. NIT it looks like.

I was pulling for UNC, but 3-15 from the field for Caleb Love is not going to win you many games. RJ Davis was the only Carolina player who did anything.

K-State has made enormous gains this year. No doubt Tang is better than Liberace. Still hate 'em, though.

@Jethro This version is more fun to hate on. It was getting pathetic beating up the little loud mouthed jerk from down the street. Hopefully they hit a growth spurt and can start to hold their own. It’ll be much more satisfying to cut their legs out from under them and watch the waterworks once they think they’re upper echelon.

Disagree. The Liberace period of Silo Tech might have been the single most hilarious event in their history. I miss hearing a coach that sounds like Mr. Bill. Tang is harder to insult, although the weird chicken dance at the end of wins at home is pure Liberacesque.
