I see Potter has left the team, I liked him but can understand as he was buried in the depth chart. We have several solid LBs.

That’s cool - players leaving because the talent ahead of them won’t let them get on the field, instead of leaving because the losing got to be too much.

Actually I think it was some as both. TCU look decent , defense looked good -well at times , not as good as Iowa States by any means but good. Yet I think more then anything I think people over estimated how good Oklahoma was and maybe under estimated about how good TCU might be
I’ll still take our chances with TCU - I can’t doubt Coach now

Dam - - didn’t realize that. Rough week - - I would say for my 2 cents probably like 22nd. - The 16 & so’s will just re-shuffle I think

Ya I think our offense will rebound. Could be a track meet up and down the field. TCU’S defense is decent BUT it’s not Iowa State’s defense. - and Iowa St was # 1 and were only giving up 14points a game- -what did we get ? - -14 points - -we will be better

Well guys I hate to rain on everyone Sun shiny day , I know or got a pretty good feel that there are others that feel the same way I but just won’t say it - -but I will. I will be the villain.
Now before every one wants to jump my a - - I just want to say I couldn’t be any prouder of these guys they have really done well and will continue to get this thing turned around yet I’m still trying to be at least a partial realist So I have to say sorry BUT KU IS NOT the 17th best team in the Nation , they are just not. Thats a to big of a jump into the polls , the only reason they jumped this high is because of attrition - plain and simple.
Now do we deserve to be ranked ? - - Dam straight we do , they have busted their ass to get where their at and I love em to death I’ve been riding this KU train for many , many years clear back with Pepper Rogers been through plenty of misery and I appreciate what these guys are doing but again we are JUST NOT the 17th best team in the Nation at this point.
Can people honestly say they think we are 5 spots better then Baylor ? - -which a team that was considered the league favorite this year ? - Can you sit and say with all your heart we are 5 spots better then them ? - Sure you can say well they have lost twice - -Ok great yes they have but they have got beat by Oklahoma State . - Can you honestly say we will beat Oklahoma State ? Cause if you do then sell me some of that s - - - that your smoking cause that must be some really awesome smoke.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not trying to say KU is a farce cause - - were not - our offense will move the ball on most anybody - but just can’t see us as the 17th ranked team at this point. - Now if you would of said 23rd - - 22nd - - or even possibly 21st then ya I could go for that & I’m fine too with 17th for sure - but just saying I just don’t think we are there yet - it’s all about numbers - -attrition I get it - So I’ll just continue to enjoy the Season Coach has done a hell of a job. - I just hope we can hang onto him ROCK CHALK ALL DY LONG BABY

I assume they do strength of schedule things in NCAA football and ours I assume is fairly high since we played a decent non con slate. We’re not 5-0 playing little sisters of the poor but more big brothers of the middle class. I’m assuming we are a top 20 team. Next week will be our sternest test yet. One more cozy confines game before some hellacious road games. It’s a silly debate to be honest because not one of us on September 1 would have said 5-0 for this team. It’s awesome to be here and I’m enjoying the ride

@Kcmatt7 I did hear that, depends on how severe and if needs surgery. Can tear all kinds of tendons even sciatic nerve. Can be like the Bo Jackson injury, take a stab at spelling, avascular necrosis. No blood supply getting to certain parts of the bone. My oldest had that in his heel. Poor soccer cleats.

I with others said Game Day better sit up camp on the hill on the Campus - -NOT somewhere in downtown Lawrence , would be huge disappointment much better atmosphere on campus - -better happen

They have had FIFTEEN National Championships in Livestock Judging.
