I am alive! No power for 5 days. Transformer blew out Thursday night after getting power on for 1-1/2 hours. Finally the electric coop showed up at 10AM Friday and put in a new transformer. We built our house in 1984 and live 45 miles west of Austin. Lucked out w/water well and pipes and water back on. It was 41 in my house from 4PM Sunday to yesterday.

@Crimsonorblue22 we were like bears hibernating. Slept for 20 hours a day. Wore all of Mike’s arctic hunting gear, 2 hats, 2 pairs of gloves, 4 shirts, and a big double insulated cammo jacket and insulated pants just to stay warm in bed.
