@JayHawkFanToo No shoes aren’t even a little the reason for the contracts. KU fans buy A TON of gear. Enough to cover even the crazy $191M contract. I worked in this exact field, first hand, as a manager, and know some numbers to back this up. The paying players behind closed doors is more of a compound effect of this.
