Had dinner with him last night, the Louisville stuff was on TV so I asked if we had anything to worry about. Pretty much word for word: “with the coaches? Fu-uck no. It’s all good with the coaches. No idea about players and what they may be up to, but the programs clean.” I asked about a certain Asst coach and he said “oh no. Self is serious about that shit and none of them would go rogue. Especially him. He’d be gone so fast and he knows it (alluding to any minor violation).” Take it how you want to. For me, the overall mindset the staff works with is a positive right now, plus I’ve been told this before by another. Also, he’s told some less than positive things about the program in the past that he knows I’d never repeat, so he’d definitely at least allude to it If stressful times might be on the horizon.
