It doesn't seem like our fanbase is very optimistic going into the tournament.

@kjayhawks2.0 On Hawk Talk Coach said he thought Dawson would win us a game going forward. Almost like he knows something.......

Losing 4 out of 6 makes me pessimistic. The wins were spectacular though. The potential is there.

I remember 2022 well. I'm not saying this team will match that, but who thought we would win it all back then? I definitely didn't see that nattie coming! When our current team plays motivated, they win.. almost regardless if they have a bad shooting night, because their key is defense. And when they play motivated they rebound, too!

We control our own destiny. We've beat #1 already. They can play with anyone, and from what I see, I think UA should be the favorite to win it all, and we know we can go toe-to-toe with them!

@drgnslayr Yeah I feel much better about this team than I did for 2022, they have played like a top tier team in spurts this season.

Usually I don't care too much how we do in the B12 tournament, but think it is important for this team if they can get 3 games and work out the consistency issues.

I felt better about this team 24 hours ago. Now I'm pretty sure this team will be over-achieving if they get to the sweet 16.

This team looks like the same as the teams have the last two seasons. They got their money but zero heart, soul, pride or anything of that nature. The checks cleared, what ever happens just happens seems to be the feeling.

@kjayhawks2.0 i get the reasons re: NIL, but the fact that this is an us problem and not an everyone problem makes it pretty clear Self will be on his way out, and hiring a players coach is the only path forward to success.
