He was absolutely terrible today, zero rebounds, steals and assists. He just doesn’t play hard 90% of the time. I hate to say it but if he isn’t playing hard, it hurts us having him out there.

DP had 23 mins played, 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 10 pts. Didn’t look like the best ku player moreless the best player in the country. I like Melvin running point better.
Not a surprising outcome today, but still disappointing. Hopefully we can win another road game or two.

Stupid theory of the day. The team was pissed that DP got a start after the rest of them beating Zona by themselves and it impacted them in their play. Maybe they're tired of his act too.

Two very visible things from this game. - - - -# one is Darryn Peterson. was very, average player in this game. I've started to notice he can be really loose and bad decisions at times just some very ill advised passes.----# 2--is and this has been a on going issue for years, KU DOES NOT respond very well at all when the other team can and does get really aggressive on defense with KU , they don't respond well at all. Just BS passes, KU just seems to go into panic mode. NOT a good day at all

Iowa state was definitely the better team today but I’d be surprised if they make a tournament run. They just arent going to get away with that level of physicality at a neutral site. KU didn’t adjust or play strong with the ball and that’s on them but that was a completely different level. The Arizona game I felt was physical on both sides in a good way. This didn’t look like basketball for a while. And if their going to shoot 80% from three in a half it’s just gonna be tough to keep up.

Except for the turnovers I think Tiller did okay. He had some blocks and five rebounds but passed up some looks from three. I hope Darryn comes back with a vengeance when all the niggling setbacks go away. We ran about two plays for him and he got two baskets. I think the two worst looking shots we took today were Flory's short hook shot that went over the hoop and didn't get within two feet at any time and Kohl's three ball attempt. Kohl is aggressive all day and he missed two drives where I was sure he was going to jam it. Elmarko was good and no turnovers. We were so boring that the home crowd shut up.

@Tallturd1 Kohl is just way too sped up right now, he hot potato’s it up with a shot. I thought Flory and Tiller both played tired. Flory finished the game strong but had very little stats 3/4s of the way thru the game. I feel like we go how our big go. I wouldn’t say we had an effort issue outside of DP but man we just didn’t play with any toughness or smarts imo. We have to settle down the insane amount of block attempts right now. I think about 6 times we had Flory, Tiller and a guard go for a block, whiff on it leading to an easy put back for ISU.
