Oh, What a Surprise, the Shocks Lost. NOT!

  • Thanks, Irish, we owe you one.

WSU couldn’t degrade the opponent’s top two players two games in a row, huh?

Honestly, Chita State just isn’t a very good defensive team, when they have to play the other team’s starters, when the other team’s stars haven’t had their noses beasted on, and their privates stiff screened.

Oh, and 3-18 doesn’t feel so hot, does it Schlockers?

    Chita State equals Chump State.

Welcome back to your pumpkins, Cinderfellas.

Now, here’s the good part: next season, if Greg Marshall doesn’t get scared and let his Schlockers go .500 on purpose, we will be matched up against them again, and we will frack them like a coal layer.

I am sooooooooo looking forward to NOT scheduling them in the regular season, because the are light weights, and then beating them into the next century when they are a 16 seed and KU is a 1 seed.

    Next.

  • Not gonna lie, especially early in the game when they were missing easy shots I would go “oh those went in against Kansas”. Notre Dame did something Self never picked up on, switching ball screens. That seemed to really neutralize their offense. Glad they lost but in the end we can’t say much because they beat us… Just goes to show you the beauty of College Ball and how teams can mentally get up for some games and not some others…

  • Now that the season is over, I’m 100% convinced that all of our problems were between our players and coaches ears. We need a new attitude.

  • Notre Dame passing, ball handling, and constant attack-mode was so fun to watch. First time in a long time I’ve actually enjoyed watching offensive play.

  • @nuleafjhawk Rumi suggested that we “let go of thinking”. For some of us, that might be an impossibility.

  • @Blown

“Notre Dame passing, ball handling, and constant attack-mode was so fun to watch. First time in a long time I’ve actually enjoyed watching offensive play.”

They made it look easy. Timing, spacing, attacking… all very well orchestrated. They knew how to drive the ball and attack off the drive. They actually know how to punish a team that plays good team “help” defense. Even the announcers caught on to that.

The answer for WSU was hedge defense. The guy on the ball had to stop the drive. Make them score over the top. Problem even with that because ND stayed hot on the perimeter most of the game. If they stay hot from outside, they are a very tough out!

I hope they give Kentucky a game. It starts by ND guys not making comments like “37 - 1.”

  • @drgnslayr pretty sure Kentucky would beat the crap out of vw, no matter the comment!

  • @BeddieKU23 or, it goes to show us, some no name has the game of their life!

To Daxton Miles from Kentucky Wildcats:

    @approxinfinity

  • Wheat Shocks turned into Irish Ale! Read all about it! (Probably not too bad ale, as it has elements of 2 “Kansas wheats” in it…sorry…)

  • @ralster I’m almost off for the weekend, I think I could go for a six pack of that!

  • I have heard rumors that the Texas Job will open up on Monday and the longhorns are going to try and $ Wrestle for the services of Mr. Shocker. It seems to me that the Koch Bros.Tea Party Money comes from a bottomless pit.

  • @wrwlumpy Texas papers reporting that the AD has given Barnes an ultimatum - fire his assistant coaches or be fired himself. Seems to be forcing the issue and quickly.

  • I very much enjoyed what I could watch of the shocker losers.

  • @jaybate-1.0 Hahaha! Thats what Im sayin! Hey WSU, you suck! Losers!
