Well, I considered a last minute trek to Utah to watch the Hawks. With this lack of give a crap, guess I’m happy I didn’t spend the cash.

Best friend lives out there and he’s from the Midwest but loves it. He’s not a mormon but said it’s his favorite place to live and he’s lived all over (OK, IA, AZ, WY and now UT)

@approxinfinity Suburbs do more. My son is pretty progressive and he knew there was that culture there which attracted him. We walked around the whole Mormon area, the temple/tabernacle and it was very strange. One young woman smiled at me like, hey, we believe in polygamy here you want another wife? LOL

LOL. Yes. I’ve stayed in SLC 5 times in the last 15 years. It’s not bad now. Was a little weird with the liquor laws/bars/breweries before, but they’ve relaxed a bit recently.
