Officiating has been blatant in this game, and I don’t really care who wins.

I mean UCLA has gotten the worse side of the whistle and you’d have to be blind not to see it.

UCLA only 7 points short of their total from the E8 win over Michigan. This pace absolutely favors Gonzaga and UCLA is really going to have to muddy the game up in the second half to have a chance and play at a snail’s pace.

UCLA is doing a really good job of playing at their pace. They are taking their time in half-court sets and not turning the ball over too much (just 5 for the game so far). Gonzaga hasn’t had a lot of opportunity to get out and run, at least by their standards. Unfortunately for UCLA, Gonzaga is shooting 61% from the floor and 50% from 3. Yet UCLA is only down a point.

Think UCLA has played about as well as they can play and now down by 1. - -think it’s gonna catch up with them in the 2nd half Gonzaga probably win. - -Makes me feel even better about Baylor - -seeing when they play against an aggressive attack the rim type team - -a team that competes on the boards and gives Timme something to think about a little different story.
Gonzaga hasn’t been tested in the Tourney tonight has played well -still think Baylor’s 4 Guards - - - Butler - - Teague - - Mayer & Mitchell gonna cause them some problems

I think it might get a little ugly for UCLA in the 2nd half - but a really game plan in the 1st half - - UCLA shot 58% themselves

I think there’s a good chance both teams come back to earth a little with shooting percentages. If UCLA can just keep playing at their pace and not turn the ball over in the 2nd half then they have a shot.

ya thats the HUGE thing, they have to stick to their game plan – - be patient - - work the clock take advantage of mis matches - don’t get sped up against these guys. Keep the game close into the last 5 minutes, where anyone’s game see how Gonzaga withstands legit pressure. Again they haven’t been challenged until tonight. - -UCLA led for like 18 of the 20 minutes in the 1st half.
The first 6-7 minutes of the 2nd half going to be HUGE for UCLA

I think Gonzaga’s Kispert & Suggs going to find it a little harde rscoring 3’s against Baylor’s defense. Mitchell probably on Kispert maybe Butler on Suggs - gonna be a good game I hope

UCLA has gotten lucky - -real lucky a couple of times tonight , Gonzaga with a couple of wide - - wide - - open three’s and missed. Kispert missed one , Timme missed one. That doesn’t usually happen had ttime to set their feet just missed that’s not going to happen very often especially with Kispert.
I said the first 6-7 minutes was going to be huge for UCLA they still right there
