Pretty much figured that sad to say. - - Just think if we could get one more quality big would be really sweet. - -any other possibilities?

Just for the hell of it , went to the N Carol Boards and of course they had a thread on Adoo. A lot of them really aren’t that impressed with Adoo or think he would be specifically a back up to Bacot. - Said play maybe 12-14 minutes in a backup role.- -Well hell he could get that here behind McCormack , lot of them look at him as a project - -some just really aren’t that interested unless he would be an impact player. - -Gonna stick with my " I GOT A DREAM " until the fat lady sings on this kid, him and Pettiford are friends so maybe he can convince him come lol

Wow, I thought they’d be really interested since only Bacot is likely to return in the post for them. I would take Aidoo in a heartbeat and play him, this team clearly needs a big who can step up into McCormack’s role after next season.

My thoughts exactly. Seems like he’s going to move up again in the ranks pushing towards 5 star status. He might be a year away from being really good but he’s already got a bunch of skills that should get him PT

@BeddieKU23 I don’t even think it needs to be Aidoo to send Gethro off tbh. He couldn’t get on the court at Sunrise. Maybe he gets better, hopefully it is at least under consideration.

ya I thought pretty much the same myself. -Kind of caught me off guard , but almost like a non chalant type approach. They were talking about with all these transfers and quality transfers they would really have instead of taking a shot of as what they called a project type that is going to take time - they want that NOW type of impact player. - -Now not ALL was that way there were some that wanted him , but from the jest I got it was more like - -EHH, again saying he would be the back up to Bacot spelling him for 10-14 minutes a game being a project.
People asking about why they didn’t go after him the 1st time around , I dunno but have to also realize these are fans of UNC - -Coach Williams and the others might have a whole different train of thought. - -Just surprised they weren’t more into Adoo. - -Some saying he didn’t have that patent shot and ya da ya da ya da type thing. - HEY I’ll take him in a heart beat lol

Update here. Multiple options in play. At this point I don’t expect Tyty to come to KU. KU is not out of it. I think we’re just behind the 8 ball a bit, but Tyty has time to weigh options and Billy Eugene has a life subscription to whatever coffee he wants because coffee is for closers, as they say.

One time KU target Brandon Podziemski ended up at Illinois.
Texas lost a pair of 4 star recruits, they followed Shaka to Marquette. Ellis & Joplin, Texas seemed to really like that pair.

LSU, FSU, Pitt and Ohio State are the players so not related to KU at all I just find it amusing.
