Self with two free scholarships to play with.

And the 3rd one might be ?

Not sure just expecting an unexpected announcement, seems to happen every year

This is one guy I’ll miss. I think he has all the potential to go be a stud somewhere else where the coach will let him make mistakes and give him run.
Reminds me a lot of how I felt about AWIII leaving. A guy you knew was capable of playing well at this level, but just can’t do the things Bill expects from his players on the defensive end of the floor. And that is okay.
I actually think - oddly enough - because it is similar with AWIII - Syracuse would be a great fit for him. Throw his length in the zone and then let him go to work on offense.

I wonder about Tristan’s passion for basketball. It always seemed like his work ethic was always the biggest thing Self mentioned about holding Enaruna back from becoming a star player and that’s something that could be a result of just not being passionate about the game.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 Yes, his “casual demeanor” didn’t work under Self.

With all of the hardworking wings at our disposal he just couldn’t find the court, but he has talent and seems to be a team player. Hope he finds a good landing spot.

This one hurts, maybe not what he promised next year but what he represented. A stretch 4 junior that could shoot the 3 is a critical role for next year. Would be nice if we can find a similar player in the portal.

Hate to see guys leave, but I’m not sure if I remember a player leaving and think KU or the player would have been better off with him still here. AWIII and Grimes… are those the two most successful? Frankamp? Milton Doyle? Find the right fit. Bitter guys poison the entire locker room.
Tristan just seemed to be putting in the time to ultimately play back in Europe, which is fine, but I never saw any passion for the US college game.
