Lincoln Project Ad

@FarmerJayhawk enjoyed this ad by The Lincoln Project, a Republican PAC trying to prevent a second Trump term:
-
Not a fan of the people involved with the LP (mostly washed up people nobody would hire anymore) and them giving endorsing all the Senate D’s (explicitly disregarding any actual principles they allegedly held) but their ads are good.
-
I would say they would get hired now… the damage they’ve done is pretty evident.
How would you not hire some of the people involved to help you run a race at this point?

I doubt it. They’re all Republican firms. So unless they change their minds on all sorts of issues, Democrats would catch holy hell for hiring them instead of a Democratic firm. It’s also highly irregular for a PAC to funnel almost all its contributions into a firm owned by one of its founders. Very scam PAC-y.

I mean… couldn’t they help republicans run the next cycle?
Clear what kind of interest they can drum up and damage they can do.
Better than Bob Hamilton ads to say the least.

Probably not. They burned every bridge and then some. It’s such a relationship business that Wilson was dead broke and had a 6 figure tax lien by the time LP came around.

@Kcmatt7 lol, those 3 are the biggest idiots I’ve ever seen run for office. I’m so sick of their ads, wonder if any one of them have any redeeming qualities or just build their platform on attacks.

The latter. Fun fact: Rick Wilson was a consultant for one Kris Kobach about 15 years ago. George Conway is a corporate litigator who happens to be married to KellyAnne (yeah, weird.) I don’t think Schmidt and Weaver have won a GOP campaign since maybe 2010?

Marshall drags poor bob dole out again to say he trusts roger Marshall. I really did like bob dole too. But I not sure he’s ok to make decisions now. They are a circus!

I don’t have any doubt Bob likes Roger a lot, he’s taken a weirdly pro-Trump like over the last few years. My theory is he’s taking his role as a very senior Republican very seriously, probably more than he should. I know he’s still sharp, and will call our Members and opine on current issues. But like you, I find it odd he’s tossed his lot in with someone who’s refused to deal with entitlements as someone who bit the hottest bullet and reformed social security during the Reagan years.

I, for one, am pulling for the Lincoln Project.
They seem to be the only conservatives left that are moral and true to a conservative philosophy.
When covid is over, we’ll be left with a deficit that will take a century of sacrifice to recover. In other words, it will probably not happen without a revolution. The Jenga tower is being set up right before our very eyes… and the ‘leaders’ of this country have been taking out the blocks over the years, but this administration seems to be accelerating the block removal while making the top of the tower taller, heavier and blowing on it.
