omg
Just read a comment that said Vermont still honored his scholarship. How unbelievably awesome is that. Way to go Vermont!
Yes they did for 4 years. Incredible gesture

Notre Dame is hammering FSU to make a push late. I’m sure there is a scenario where we aren’t a number 1 seed even if we lose the next 2.
-
Odd that KSU vs OSU is the U but we are on Plus… I guess they have to sell it some how…
-
OSU was able to extend KSUs losing streak to 10. Winning 69-63, I got a good laugh watching the last few minutes. McGuril for KSU ran into a ref and laid himself out and they showed highlights of Sneed missing a break away dunk he tired to showboat on (second one that I’ve seen, Diarra had the first). Haha that is one sorry club at this point, may finish the season with not only more punches than wins but missed dunks
-
KU is still the only team to hold Dayton under 50% on two point shots. Not the stiffest competition in their league but still!
-
FSU came back and beat ND! A fun game to watch.
-
Dayton is legit. They should be a 1 seed.
-

They should be a #1 seed however all you see in the media is trying to tout Maryland/Kentucky/ACC for that 4th spot at the moment. They are arguably the 3rd best team in the country as well above Gonzaga. What seems to be holding back Dayton is the resume. That’s where other teams have the advantage
-
Would hate to have to go through Dayton to get to the FF. Hope they get seeded away from us.
Plus, the NCAA loves Dayton – so close to Indy and the host of play-in games. They seem like nearly a lock for Elite Eight.
-
I think Kentucky is a 4 seed right now. I think their ceiling is a 3.

@jayballer73 it’s sarcasm. I love it!

Guys don’t get me wrong , love our team BUT man I wish we could of landed Precious. would of really helped for sure. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

WSU down 12 to Memphis on the road late currently. They came back from double digits against SMU to remain in the last four in on several bracket predictions. Hard to imagine them getting in without winning the American conference tournament at this point. They have a solid record at 22-8 with a loss tonight. But have 1 win over a quadrant 1 team. Would be tough to make a case for a team finishing in 5th in that conference to get in.

And that Q1 win is over bubble team Oklahoma. WSU doesn’t deserve an at large bid this season.

Will Marsha be looking at some job openings?
-
@Crimsonorblue22 I doubt it. The WSU fans inexplicably adore him. And, he’s got a pretty sweet deal where he is. I don’t know what his salary is but I understand Charles Koch kicks in some pretty big bucks, too.
-
@BShark “Ksuck most losses in a season in school history. You hate to see it.”
YOU hate to see it. I LOVE it.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 highly unlikely, last time I looked he is the 12th highest paid coach in CBB. He makes more than a couple of coaches with a national title. With his big contract and very little pressure where he’s at, I’d be shocked if he leaves. He’s struggling in a decent league right now.
-
Just read his name mentioned in several openings. Fred, Ron and Landry aren’t walking thru the door! I know Texas didn’t want him last time. Fans are getting a lil restless, especially cause his paycheck is so high!

Well it’s already started concerning things for seedings in the NCAA tourney. - -All these teams that’s on the bubble , just getting quite a bit smaller for a chance to make it. - -Was reading results from some of the Conference tourneys and so many lower seeded teams knocking off higher seeds in their Conference Tourney. These are leagues that unless you win your Tourney , you not making the NCAA. - - So that’s going to take a spot away from other bubble teams. - -going to be crazy.
-
Oh Coach Cal got some problems. - -Ashton not making the trip to Florida today staying behind stepping away fr a minute. - - With the way things went last game there - - Something is going on there not being told , think there is some friction going on in the locker room things not as good as they make it out

There’s only one conference tournament game that affects the bubble today and that’s the Mountain West title game with Utah St. being on the bubble. Northern Iowa is the only bubble team in conference tournament so far that has lost.
The only other team playing in a conference tournament game today that’ll be affected by a loss is ETSU. ETSU in the SoCon is a potential bubble team that could lose so that’s a tournament with keeping an eye on. Furman is more than capable of knocking the Bucs off and making ETSU sweat it out.
The Pac 12 and AAC both have multiple regular season games this weekend that will have a big impact on the bubble. In the P12, USC and UCLA play each other and UCLA would clinch at least a share of the P12 title with a win and Stanford plays at Oregon in a game that could move the Cardinal off the bubble. If UCLA and Stanford both lose, they would meet in the 2nd round of the P12 tournament in a game that could have big NCAA tournament implications.
Tomorrow in the American, Tulsa plays at WSU in a game Tulsa could win the regular season title outright and Houston host Memphis in a game Memphis has to have to keep their tournament hopes alive.

bottom line there are some teams that’s on the bubble that’s not going to want to see any teams other then the predicted favorites to win. - if there is - -they are screwed.- -any upsets sure doesn’t help Wichita State and other teams such a that

Wichita St. needs a win today for any upset to be relevant for their tournament hopes. If they don’t win today at home against Tulsa, they will be flat out off the bubble regardless of what anyone else does this weekend or in their conference tournaments and they will have to win the AAC tournament to get the automatic bid. You can’t claim a win against Oklahoma as your best win and get an at large bid.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 doesn’t matter, WSU plays tmrw
-
Texas down 20-5 in a home game against Oklahoma St. That’s a real good way to not make it into the tournament.
-
@KirkIsMyHinrich 25-7 now. Just when you think maybe Texas turned a corner.
-
@BShark Their lack of fan support is kind of sad.
-
There goes Shaka’s little fairy dust dream - - 25-7 with 10 minutes in the 1 st half lmao - -sucks for Shaka

@jayballer73 Lol! True… And while many disagree with me I agree with Coach Self. The only people standing to gain anything from our scheduling Wichita State would be Wichita State.

In a real thriller between two great teams KSuck is pounding UMKCISU.
-
You know, I think we’re going to win it all, I really do. But regardless of outcome, this is one of my alltime favorite KU teams.

Texas trying to keep out of the tournament today. Getting absolutely destroyed at home by 16-14 OK State.

You’re the one who specifically mentioned WSU as not wanting to see bid stealers win. All I said was they needed to beat Tulsa for any of those potential upsets to be relevant for WSU since a loss to Tulsa pretty well knocks them off the bubble and into the have to win their tournament to get in group.

Not a tournament team imo

K really working the zebras after having less than half the fouls as Carolina. Typical.

Big game for bubble teams on CBS with Utah State up 4 on SDSU. This is a one team league if SDSU pulls it off. I’d not a bubble team gets bounced.

USU is a bubble team so a loss doesn’t destroy their hopes. An SDSU loss probably knocks SDSU off the 1 line and probably bumps Dayton up to a 1 seed
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 a loss doesn’t knock them out or really move them down. But just about every source has them as the 2 or 3 team out currently

Looks to be a non issue now with shot Merrill just nailed to put USU up 3 with 2.5 seconds left.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 that was a shot! I enjoy watching these smaller conference title games almost as much as the real deal. Utah State as a 9 or 10 is a tough out. They guard and can shoot it.
