So is Oklahoma St just that bad (0-6 in conference play) or is this Exhibit #28 of Self bringing his squad to Stillwater and watching the annual crap in our pants game a real possibility again. Frank was the last time I remember winning there and he was absolutely a killer in that game.
Looking over the stats of our away games Doke & Dotson have not played anywhere near their best on the road. It’s no surprise but if we want to win tonight undermanned we better see our two best players show up. Something has got to give with going there.

Isn’t it common knowledge that Bill doesn’t actually do any coaching during this game? He seems to have something against beating his alma mater, so he let’s the guys sink or swim. More often than not, they ‘sink’ in Stillwater. It’s his annual “let’s see how they do without me” test for his players. Seems like he likes to see if/who will step up and lead the team to victory. (I’m mostly joking about this post, btw)

@BeddieKU23 I am not confident in this game at all. Doesn’t help that Ku is 2-4 there the last 6 years.
Quick turnaround with only 7 players is not going to help as well. The spread opened up at KU -9 and has been bet down to KU -7. I was shocked it was that high.
With the way Baylor is playing this is pretty much a must win when it comes to trying to win the conference. Can’t lose to a team that is going to finish at the bottom.

@Woodrow I’m going to feel good! As long as nothing bad happens, injuries, doke fouling out. I think they’ll shoot better than average from 3, of course, but they can’t stop doke!

@mayjay Thanks for that updated info. In other news, Vegas has KU favored by 7. Jesse Newell is predicting a 71 - 59 KU victory. Jesse was right about Baylor beating us in AFH, so sure hope he’s right about tonight

Contrary to the spread which I think is accounting for the 7 players and Self’s road woes most model’s have this game being closer to the 9/10 point region that the spread was at until this morning. Kenpom has this at 10, last I saw ESPN was saying 9. A few others I saw were saying around that as well. I think the models are not predicting OSU to have one of those games where they make 15 3’s and KU looks like a pile of turd buckets. We’ll see I guess

McGriff always plays like Jordan against us too. Expect those 2 plus Dziagwa to go off from 3 as he’s averaging double figures and 12 for 25 from 3 in his last three games

Did my usual job of checking other teams boards - - - see what was being said. - -Didn’t know that Oklahoma State has the best winning percentage of ANY team in the Big 12. Also stated saying KU has only been swept once in the last decade , they said you do know who did that don’t you ? - - OSU
Also a lot of very un happy fans there talking about how they not coming to watch Oklahoma State play anymore until they improve they’re quality of ball. Poor zone defense - -no ball movement etc , etc - talking about how empty GIF is - said tired of spending money watching that quality of ball - - With that being said , WATCH them just play insane and hit an un-Godly pct from the three tonight.

So now before I say this , don’t get a wrong perception but what I’m going to say is and has NOTHING against Kobie at all far from it BUT more about ESPN.
So they moved the KU - Oklahoma State game to ESPN 2 - -yet they still show the N Carl/ NC State on ESPN -didn’t move them, WHY NOT? - -maybe because it’s the ACC ? - -are we for SURE our game is moved ? - -On my guide off Direct still shows KU on ESPN.- - just some thoughts

@jayballer73 It’s very simple–putting the Kobe thing on at 9 on the west coast makes more sense than starting it during the dinner hour for the largest group of likely interested viewers.
Not everything is based on favoring ACC!
