Other Games

  • @BShark

Their leading scorer bricked 2 free throws as well that would have won it, gave Kentucky chance to score and tie and then that buzzer beater

  • South Carolina scored 56 points in the 2nd half. - -Kentucky fans are in full melt down lmao. - talking about Coach Cal on downward trend ,- can’t understand why some players on the floor at end of games , SC scores 56 in the 2nd half after scoring 56 total against Seton hall.

Saying this team is maybe a Sweet 16 team at best lmao, South Carolina was dead last in the SEC in free throw pct shooting 61 %. - - talking about how their guard is a selfish guard lol – gotta love it – I do. Thinking about sending a crying towel via Next Day Air - -or just Fed-Ex it- -lol

  • Alabama taking it to Auburn right now 28-17

  • CRAZY - - -CRAZY basketball season , and we not at the half way yet. - - - # 10 Kentucky 12-3 before tonight, loses to a South Carolina team that was 8-7 - 71-68 # 16 Wichita State & Marsha 15-1 before tonight loses to Temple -65-54 that was 9-6 & biggest of All # 4 Auburn unbeaten 15-0 going into tonight LOSES to a Alabama team that was 8-7 going into tonight 83-64 crazy , crazy season. What in the world is going on ? - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @jayballer73 Butler lost at home. Virginia is in a free fall…and scott drew is the leading candidate for coach of the year.

    Weird stuff. Weird stuff indeed.

  • I don’t think grimes is even starting.

  • @Crimsonorblue22 definitely wasn’t on the court at the end of the game. Houston was shooting free throws to ice their win and while all the other cougars were cheering…Q was sitting there staring straight ahead. I felt for him slightly.

  • @bmensch1 I don’t think he’s played much the last few games.

  • 5 ranked teams lost last night, only one (Butler) to another ranked team.

  • @Crimsonorblue22

Might be nursing an injury? However Sampson made some changes to the lineup and looks like Q was one of them. The Natives are getting to see what he was last year. Here’s some snips.

Is Grimes totally healthy? The way he’s playing I hope not. He’s become invisible out there.

Grimes is mentally shook. Asking him to take care of the ball AND to be a scoring threat has killed his offensive game. He was grossly overrated in HS, that much is also obvious. He is a decent player but not even one of the 4 best on this team. Him going to the NBA early is just the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. He could stay here through his senior year and get better and then who knows. Its definitely time to dial back any lofty expectations for Grimes. He’s merely an average player for us.

I still thought we were getting a really good player. He is way too soft on offense. His defense is mostly pretty good. Was definitely overrated as a 5 star. His biggest weakness is between the ears, unfortunately. Perhaps he can have a good game soon and gain some confidence. We need him to start balling at some point. I would think, based solely on his play, that Sampson might start sitting him a lot more. Aside from a handful of games (6?), and a few of those were early, he has been way too timid

North Carolina with what is going on at Carolina this year I think 8-8 this year. - just really nuts. - -Louisville choking ya nuts

one would think & see what he was doing at KU ? - I mean NOW these fans see what we went through with Q. - -just where he was grossly over rated - -now he is doing exactly the same at Houston, also having the same attitude as he had here

  • Mcgriff on fire 🔥 as OSU is up 12 on Baylor late in The first half

nine at the half - -Oklahoma State has pretty much lead the entire half. Only one problem. It’s just one half lol , one thing I notice and have noticed before when Meyer comes in for Baylor - it’s one HUGE black hole. That kid only has one thing in mind , seeing how many shots he can jack up while in for his limited minutes. 3/4 of the time he touches the ball , it’s going up lmao.

  • Mercy North Carolina is just terrible, I mean TER - - -RIBLE ! ! ! ! getting just drilled , AGAIN down by 20 at Pittsburg at the end of the half , WOW

  • Baylor losing would be a nice surprise, but I’d bet on them waking up in the 2nd half.

ME too I think you will see a whole different 2nd half

  • Difference in this game is 3 point shooting. Baylor is 2-15 and Pokes are 9-16

  • Didnt last Baylor is winning

  • osu back up 1

  • Down one now. Wild game.

  • I don’t know who will win, but the upper section at Gallagher Arena is barren. They will never know if a packed house would have made a difference. I think “historic” Gallagher Arena should be re-named “empty” Gallagher Arena.

  • #4 Auburn lost again for the second time this week.

#5 Butler lost again for the second time this week.

And somehow someway KSU is going to beat #12 WVU

  • How in the hell did KSU hang 84 on WV? That’s been a two game total for them all year.

  • @kjayhawks 25 FTA. Also just caught fire today, it happens.

  • @BShark I was thinking before today it could a race to 50 Tuesday.

  • @kjayhawks still probably will be

  • Juiston can’t shoot at all but he hustles. Bill would have loved him.

  • WSU is getting their aces kicked at home, they haven’t scored in like ten minutes. Down 47-25.

  • Calipari just got ejected.

  • @BShark he asked for it, got a T then was pushed back repeatedly before being ejected. It was stupid because he really didn’t seem that fired up. Just wanted to get the last word lol.

  • Grimes is coming off the bench now… if that tells us anything

  • The more I watch other games the more I see how KU can have a highly rated offense this year…

  • This is a crazy year. The goal should be simply to get a little better every week. No dominant team.

The tournament is less likely to be driven by major conferences than ever.

  • Louisville kicking Duke’s ass atm.

  • … And the dukey whistles start to blow. Worst offensive foul call ever.

I just thought the exact same thing today.

It’s not us. It’s everyone else. And likely the new line.

I just need Lousiville to not lose by 8

  • Stanley would have been nice to land…

  • Louisville will lose they wasted no time making that clear already

He improved a ton his sr year and thats why hes at duke

  • Once the Duke money rolls in you can fuhgeddaboutit.

  • The refs are dispicable in this game

The only issue I have with that statement is that the non power conference teams that are highly ranked this year are the usual suspects of recent mid major powers. Gonzaga, Butler, SDSU, Wichita St., and Dayton. Everyone of those teams except for SDSU has at least and E8 appearance in the past decade.

There may not be a dominant team this season, but there’s also very little parity either this season. There’s not really anyone on the top 25 at the moment that if you saw this poll in any random season that you would look at think how are they ranked.

This is a year where the more things change, the more they stay the same. I’m fully expecting the champ to be a traditional power with all 4 Final Four spots going to traditional powers and I am including Gonzaga among that group at this point.

  • Louisville is terrible

  • Horrible call awarding Hurt 3 FTs on that foul. Clearly on the floor.

  • @Texas-Hawk-10

We are kind of saying the same thing. There’s a larger margin of error this year for teams like Dayton, SDSU, Gonzaga, and others.

For that reason I think there’s a better chance a FF team is one or more of those “power” teams from non-power 5 conferences. But, you’re right, it might come from the power 5 but be a “surprise” team like Ohio State or Baylor.

I think that also suggests that there is more parity both within and across conferences. I don’t have stats to back this up… just anecdotally seems like the top 25 teams constantly getting beat.

(PS: you may want to update your sig… Not sure the Astros earned it.)

  • Omg Jay Bilas just mentioned Doke during the Duke game. Sky is falling.

  • I heard that! I was like WHAT???
