@Kcmatt7 - I’ve “cut the cord” and and only have AppleTV and NetFlix. I usually subscribe to SlingTV for ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3. Now I’m thinking I’ll drop Netflix and go with YouTube TV (if I can get it through ROKU or Apple TV).

I get YouTube TV on Roku sticks (newer ones) with no problem. I get all the ESPNs, Fox Sports, SEC, Big 10, NBA, Major League baseball and a number of other sports channels, including several soccer channels, tennis, golf, Olympic sports…you name it plus unlimited recording and 3 simultaneous stream and the local network station to boot. Great for sports lovers.

@JayHawkFanToo - y’all have convinced me. I dropped Netflix but did NOT add Sling. I subscribed to YouTube TV today and will come out of hibernation next March. My net cost was a $7 increase for a LOT more sports and regular TV.
@Kcmatt7 - I would have had ESPN1, 2 & 3, but no ESPNU or SECN via SlingTV.
I think the problem is now solved. Thanks to you both! RCJH!

I think you will be happy. I have an offer to go back to Hulu for one year for $5.99 per month and I am staying with YouTube TV. I still have Netflix but I keep it mostly for when the grand kids come over but I am seriously considering doing away with it. Amazon Prime gives you a lot of free movies and free second day shipping for less money.

Amazon Prime has been putting out good content too lately.

@JayHawkFanToo and @Kcmatt7 - I have Amazon Prime and can watch it on Roku and Apple TV. However, I find it almost impossible to rewind or fast forward the video. It’s not my first choice. However, I have over 200 iTune movies plus YouTubeTV now. Settling in for the winter…

Kentucky has a lot of raw talent and potential but low Basketball IQ and they need to learn to play together as a team and inexperience is showing. They will get better as the season progresses but their season can go sideways pretty quick. This will be a long season for Cal and Kentucky fans…I like it.

I was just going to say the ONY UK won this game was strictly hght. - -Once they started driving the ball and dishing to the big guys it was over or UK rebounded miss. - -UK is NOT the # 2 team in the Country - - UK is NOT the # 5 team in the country - - I seriously doubt they belong in the top 10 right at this point

Southern Illinois lost this game after their center fouled out. Then Tucky just murdered them inside. While their center was still on the floor, it was anybody’s game. To me, they look like a first weekend exit type team. Completely over rated.

I think it’s pretty easy to say that the Big 12 is down sure looks like to me. -I mean ya it’s just the start BUT Baylor lost - -K- Straight really struggled with their little cupcake - Texas in overtime -But it was Arkansas at least I dunno - just appears like it’s gonna be a down year-- WV in a struggle at the present.

With Kentucky needing free throws to beat SIU at Rupp, and Duke looking mortal today against Army, I think we can say that the annihilation in the champions classic game was in large part due to Kentucky sucking, and not so much Duke being so good that they could beat the Cleveland Cavaliers. Duke looked today pretty much how I expected them to look before the season began; Cam, RJ, and Zion doing a lot and the rest of the team not doing much. Thank goodness we don’t need to cancel the season and just give Duke the national title right now.

Controversial play to end the game. State up by 3 with 7 seconds left and they foul to send the other team to the line instead of hitting the 3. Typical foul but the refs call it flagrant so they get to shoot and made 2 FTs, got the ball out of bounds, inbound and hit a 3 to win the game.
