For @jayballer73: Packers told Montgomery to take a knee

  • @mayjay Thanks buddy. This is exactly what I was saying and pretty much everyone who is anyone. - -I mean I was thee sitting and watching and thinking- -look you dum shit, what the hell are you doing? - - -right over two minutes to go and you don’t even give Aaron the chance? What the F - - - are you thinking? - -oh that’s right YOUR NOT. - -I have NEVER seen such a bone headed move. - Wonder if he get’s fined for that AFTER the Coach’s told him to take a knee I mean your only down 2 with right at 2 minutes to go and Aaron and Devonte and Randall leading the charge - -all I can say is WOW

  • The most interesting thing is that he threw a tantrum when taken out of the game in their last possession. So people were saying it was all about him deciding to do whatever the hell he wanted.

ya well he might of just saw the field for the last time this year

  • If the Packers told him to take a knee and he didn’t, that’s one thing.

But generally, returners catching the ball less than a couple yards deep in the end zone run it out. In the moment, I didn’t think he made a mistake to run it out, it was more a mistake of ball security to not have two hands on the ball once he got into the crowd.

  • He caught the ball two full yards deep. He should have peaked down to see where he was. Not taking a knee in that situation is inexcusable because it took away the 2 minute warning to top everything off. Returning the ball, if kicked into the endzone, was not an option at all. That is a total lack of game awareness. Especially if the coaches told him to take a knee.

  • @justanotherfan they told him to take a knee even before he took the field for the kickoff. - He was pissed about being taken out on GB’S previous possession throwing a hissy fit on the sideline. Throwing his helmet and such is the way the article read.

  • @jayballer73

I didn’t see that part of it because I was watching the game in a bar without sound. Like I said though, if he was told to take a knee, he should have just taken a knee.

Ya behind the scenes - - inside the scene, I just wonder what is going to come from this? - -I mean this is a blatent violation within the team right? - -I mean you just flat ass took the approach of I’m gonna do what I WANT to do - total opposite of what he was told.

They could very easily just not play him - -which I don’t think will happen - -but his time COULD be reduced drastically - -haven’t really heard but is he a poison on the team? - - - Could/would he face a fine for something violating some kind of team rule from the inside? - -I can’t see NOTHING no repercussion at all coming from this. - -Something will be done I’m sure.

I mean you just took the possibility out of one of the best QB’s hands not even giving him the chance to come on the field and drive the ball down the filed for the win. - All they would need was a field - -not even a touchdown they were only down 29-27 with like 2:11 left in the game. I’ve seen Aaron win games with a lot less time then that. - -you figure we take over on the 20-- you only would need to get to the 35 - -that would make it a 52 yd attempt - - or 30 make it a 47 yd attempt with Mason Crosby? - -he has always been really good with distance. - -are you telling me that Aaron couldn’t drive them down the field 45 yards? - -I’ve seen it done multiple times. - -just plain bone head. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

For what its worth, the Packers traded Montgomery to Baltimore today. They are getting a 7th round pick in 2020 for him. Pretty clear that GB wanted to move him and wasn’t worried about what they might get back.

Exactly my friend. I just think Sunday sealed the deal - must of been kind of a poison for the team

  • Well my Boys Beat Da Bears today - - -AGAIN. - -having said that , I’ll say this again as a Packer fan - -Green Bay is the MOST Unimpressive 11-3 team I have ever seen. would not surprise me at all if we get knocked out in the 1st round of the playoffs at all.

I mean it’s like these guys go comatose after their fist couple of drives of the game - - - Aaron has looked very average practically all year. - Throws the ball when he shouldn’t not completing nearly as much - -then turn arounds and hangs on to the ball to long tries to make that super play instead of taking the simple route & ends up getting sacked and taking us out of scoring opportunities.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all - -they haven’t won comfortably ALL YEAR. - -just like today jumped up 21-3 midway through the 3rd quarter and had to hang on for dear life - pretty disappointing.

Do like Aaron Jones though sweet back -got a couple of young talented recievers - -Aaron needs to get his head out of his A - -

  • @jayballer73 the packers aren’t good imo, they have got about 5 game changing calls that were incorrect. They really are an 9-7 type of team, we’ll find out in the post season if Rodgers has any magic left.

Love Aaron but he has for sure has dropped off this year. Not sure if it’s the new play calling/new Coach just not sure - -Aaron is not Aaron. Can he still be big time? - -sure the hell can. Actually I think hands down the best team right now and more likely then not is going to be the San Francisco 49er’s without a doubt - these guys are un-real this year every aspect of the game

  • Have a question. - - Someone tell me how the Seahawks wit an 11-5 record had to play at Philly who had a 9-7 record. - - No way did the Seahawks get seeded lower the Philly did they? - - How ?

Divisional winners get the home games. Seahawks were a wildcard because they were in a tougher division, it’s dumb.

ahhh that’s right. - -Seattle was same division with San Francisco right ? - - thanks - -forgot that.
