Espn gets it wrong!

Espn sucks http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/21255356/kansas-ranks-preseason-top-5-fifth-straight-season http://es.pn/2hw1dPj Read thru

I’m sorry. I just can’t bring myself to read ESPN.
-
I just quickly perused the story, give me a hint, what part did ESPN get wrong?
-
Kansas is always number 1 to me. I also thought Wichita State would be preseason top 5 this season.
-
Even w/ the loss of Frank mason… That paragraph.
-
@JayHawkFanToo You missed them calling KU the “Wildcats” not once but twice?
-
During the last two seasons ESPN has ignored the fact that the White Sox won the world series in 2005. Last year it was a graphic showing Chicago champions since 1980 or something like that. Bears, Blackhawks and bulls logos were shown, but no Sox. This year it was showing that the Yankees are the only team to win the world series with 2 or less post season losses since 1998. The Sox only lost one game in the post season of 2005. Now calling us the Wildcats. Unbelievable.

This is what happens when you access the forum at 3 AM.

@JayHawkFanToo Must be what happened to the person writing it, too!
-
Nah…that is his day time job. ESPN just does not care for things that are not East or West Coast or…never mind.

Here’s one of NBC Sports first brackets…
-
What WILL we do??? Could we actually play MU … again? NBC’s first bracket above creates a disturbing possibility. A Baker’s dozen of questions that are racing through my mind:
-
If we played MU in the second round, would that “do anything for us?”
-
Could we get the NCAA to change the bracket because MU is just trash to the east?
-
Can we opt for the NIT instead, claiming an obscure morality clause in the University by-laws?
-
Any possibility that adidas would pay off MU’s bus driver so they head the opposite direction, and miss the start of the game?
-
Would the NCAA “do us a solid” (street lingo there) and “engineer” the outcomes so we didn’t have to play mean old MU?
-
Would Bill Self commandeer the embarrassing Civil War uniforms from our flag football team to inspire violent protests against MU because MU has the audacity to still have soil in their state where slaves worked?
-
On that theme, could we demand reparations from MU for their inhumanity?
-
Might we petition to play Davidson, or Utah, or Georgia instead, citing precedent?
-
If the chancellor declared a “Day of Prayer” to seek the Lord’s help on behalf of the Badgers, would the aethist MU-phobes break down and say, “What the he**, it can’t hurt”?
-
Would it be wrong to engage Andrew Wiggins to begin a conversation now, with Michael Porter, about saving himself for the NBA?
-
If Bill Self is clucking and lurching around AFH, mentally unable to coach, can we get some sort of relief there?
-
Is there a “hurt feelings” exception in the NCAA rules that we could invoke?
-
If we threw the first round game on purpose, would the increasingly minuscule group of anus pained anti-Border War KU fans that are still in existence explain that such actions were “in KU’s best interests”?
Don’t be mad. I’m just curious. That’s all. Truly, no malice.
-
-
I’m beginning to worry that beating MU every year is the highlight of some KU fan’s season.
-
Shouldn’t we wait and see if MU actually makes it to the dance first?
-
This paragraph for sure: Even with the loss of Frank Mason III, the Wildcats have a solid roster, with the only potential concern being up front, where they are thin. Devonte Graham and Billy Preston will be huge factors in determining how far the Wildcats can go in the NCAA tournament. And hey, it doesn’t hurt having Self at the helm.

We have a great Kansas Wildcat team this year! LMAO
