How Do I Delete My Notifications?
-
When I pull down the menu notification menu (the bell at the top of the window), I used to be able to read my notifications and then delete the notifications. Now all the menu lets me do is:
click on “mark all notifications read”
or
click on “see all notifications”
Neither one empties my notification list.
Advice?

@jaybate-1.0 mark all notifications read?
-
Click on circle on message
-
Go to see all chats and click on x’s
-
Never mind!! I’m screwing my stuff up
-
Mark all notifications as read worked for me. Hm.
-
@approxinfinity That just changes their background color for me from the highlighted unread color of creamy beige to the same white as all my other read ones. They are all still there in the list though like Jaybate’s are.
I don’t remember deleting notifications before the upgrade. If I could, I certainly don’t recall using it.

Yeah I don’t think they delete from the list but they should remove the highlight and the count should decrement.
-
@mayjay I did before change
-
There was a nice big “delete” button on the old version when I clicked see all notifications.
We need that delete function back, or we are going to have massive lists of notifications accumulate.
So far nothing clears them out.

accumulate
I wonder if they time out or if there is a limit as to the number displayed. I haven’t looked at how this is configured

@jaybate-1.0 The way I figured out finally on the notifications was when I clicked on the notifications down at the bottom where it says mark all notifications read - -I clicked that and they all vanished that’s how I got rid of mine. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
-
@jaybate-1.0 It used to only display like the most recent 21 notifications and then time-out. Several times I went on vacation last year and couldn’t read all of my notifications.

Don’t scroll down. Poof only one page of notifications!
