UNC EASYHEELS IN FINAL FOUR: I MISS EASYGATE

It seems like it just disappeared.
I used to look forward to the suspense of what the punishment would be, and which new bunch would take over UNCAD. I used to wonder if UNC’s credentials would be pulled? I wondered how many degrees would be invalidated? How many students would sue the university for substandard educations?
But now it’s like it never happened.
I want the scandal back!
I want a documentary.
I want Michael Moore to make a hustle called, “Dude, Where Did My Degree Go?”
Life is so boring without Easygate.

apparently its okay to miss the deadline to respond to the allegations as I read UNC has not responded within the 60 day? period. We both know there’s too much money associated for anything to really happen to UNC

Even the NC Legislature is voting today to get rid of the stupid bathroom bill that is losing the state Millions of $ and prestige of NCAA hostings. KU has the same Bill, but there aren’t any venues in Kansas to attract the NCAA.

It seems to me that the NCAA is never really eager to follow through on any violations by Duke or UNC.

To many people, likely the majority, what you call the “stupid law” is not the problem and the real issue is the law that created a problem where none (or a small one) existed in the first place and made it into a big issue…and yes, I know people that are LGBT and I know that even that community is divided on the issue. This is a political issue so I will not comment on it any further.
By the way, Wichita is scheduled to host 1st and 2nd round NCAA next year.

Now siting the early rounds of the March Carney in Wichita, when they could be cited in Lawrence on James Naismith Court; that is REALLY stupid.

@JayHawkFanToo You are right about Wichita and I apologize to you for calling it a stupid law. But I hope the NCAA works out the pairings with California schools.

No problem. Kansas is only one of several states where California State Schools will not be allowed to travel. Sooner or later the NCAA has to concentrate on sports and get out of the social policy making role.

Touché; however, I was not advocating one side or the other, I was simply stating that the NCAA should stay out of politics.
