So Ewin is definitely in play if he gets a waiver. That's a huge development but hard to get excited since it's in others hands.

If Ewin or Council can't get a JuCo waiver, would Self and staff look to sniff around Michigan's roster to fill the last spot with Dusty May headed to the Mavericks and their players now having the option to transfer?

I doubt it but if we could get Thiam or Cadeau we might be the favorites to cut down the nets

Well i guess that's it for the roster then? One shy of our allotment of 15 players. Maybe Self was waiting for the Council situation to clear up? Who knows. I'd much prefer to have a player who can train and learn under the coaching staff. Hope they fill that spot. Or heck, were we still under some sort of NCAA penalty and need to reduce? I already forget.

They clearly want a big since Reeves is recovering from surgery for a while. Can't imagine there's much NIL to give unless they found another willing source..It's unlikely to be a pretty commit whoever it is they end with

@BeddieKU23 agree. Ewin would have been a game changer but they must think he won't be eligible now

He’ll be far more talented than most guys who we offer the 15th scholarship too.

Could be but I saw the kid’s parent with KT, Vaughn and Tyran today.
