@nuleafjhawk jeez, what team won conference, conference tourney, regionals, and earned a chance to host a super regional? So negative!

@crimsonblu22 I'm not negative. I have high expectations and when my teans perform like garbage I'm disappointed. Maybe others should set the bar higher and not settle for mediocre play when it really counts.

13-2 final. Obviously a disappointing end to the season, but still arguably the greatest season in Kansas baseball history.

It was a great season and very enjoyable to watch. Thank you to all the players and staff. Hope to reload again for next year and take it another step farther!

Very disappointed in the last two games, I really thought we had a gray chance to advance on paper Arkansas was much better than OU. But different teams match up differently. It almost looked we played scared to me the pitchers had zero command and confidence, the batting was much of the same. I probably watched more college baseball the last month than the all the years of my life combined. Thanks for a great season Hawks!!

Oklahoma on its way to the finals against UNC. Seems like KU ran into a super hot team and OU is still hot and rolling. WVU's run came to an end against UNC - represented the B12 pretty well.

@RockkChalkk Ive been rooting for Oklahoma. Aint no shame when youre vanquished by a team making a deep run

They did it, OU are champions. Pretty wild considering their ranking entering the tournament. Just goes to show that anyone can do it if they get hot at the right time.

It’s wild to think about how OU I believe finished the regular season with a losing record and 11th place in the SEC. Some folks questioned if they belonged in the tournament at all. Reminds me of Arizonas BB 97, just got hot at the right time.

My barber is a big college baseball fan... he used to go to Omaha every year for the CWS for maybe a decade... anyway, we were talking back when KU was in the regionals and he said the winner of CWS was almost always a team that just got "hot" for the run.. It was rarely a team that was projected to win it all. It's a bit strange to think of baseball being so streaky given that it's not a single-game elimination tournament.

                        Rock Chalk!
