Wait I thought Arkansas was playing Georgia Tech in the super regional? At least that's what tweeters from both schools were tweeting all weekend. Gonna be fun. @nuleafjhawk I was tempted to drive out there but the thought of driving all that way to watch one baseball game, or maybe two is just a bit much.

@nuleafjhawk I saw 2 sets of 2 tickets for Sunday on Stubhub. One was for 650, the other like 3000. If you got that sort of dough sitting around donate it to our NIL fund!

It’s about 2.5 hours for me but would be thousands to take the whole family. Not to get too deep into inflation but I remember going to KU football games for $10, $8 for baseball and $50 for basketball. The kicker is I’m only 38 (almost) and didn’t go to a KU sporting event that I paid for til I was 20. Reminds of going to Sam’s Club with my grandma and her saying how she remembered everything being half of what it used to be. One of the issues is I’m saying that now in my 30s with almost every item on shelve and she was saying in here late 60s/ early 70s.

@kjayhawks2.0 For sure. I'm following the 'Hawks and will be cheering for a trip to the CWS. Would be a lot of Jayhawk fans in the stands in Omaha.

I assume Oklahoma fans will be good sports this weekend. I've been to football games in Norman and I was impressed with the OU fans. No hatred or catcalling like KSt and Mizzou. I think its always tough to sit close to opposing fans which happens at Hoglund.

@stoptheflop Agree. Oklahoma fans were respectful and welcoming when we visited. As the game in Norman wound down, I turned to a woman behind me and said, "Why are you so supportive of Coach Mangino?" Her well-informed reply was, "Because Coach Mangino was our offensive coordinator when we won the national championship."

Good grief: WVa plays today at 11; WV may be in the World Series before KU plays its first game.

@stoptheflop I liked that view I saw of the hillside seating in Morgantown. They had a storm today that injured people inside a tent on that hillside.

I really didn't like that send in the first inning that got our guy thrown out at third. Really killed momentum early and bats been quiet ever since.
