Yeah I can certainly understand the #1 player being projected for big #'s as history says it's a good bet they will be really good. Hopefully he's worth it and produces at a high level.

As a rotation player, yes, as a starter no. Really unusual in that all 3 years, his 3 pt % is higher than 2 pt %. For a guy listed at 6'7", he doesn't rebound the ball. But as someone who is capable of giving you production from the bench, yes...

He's terrible. This can't be the last "impactful" addition. Fwiw, he doesn't move the needle at all on Torvik or Miya.

He's terrible. This can't be the last "impactful" addition. Fwiw, he doesn't move the needle at all on Torvik or Miya.
Is there anybody left who would move the needle? Or is this the cream on top of the steaming pile?

Is Kinney a real 5 star? Kinney 5 star, Stokes 5 star, Adkins 4 star.. is highest 3 guys in a recruiting class since... 2015, Carlton Bragg (5 star), Lagerald Vick (5 star) and Cheick Diallo (5 star).

I actually think expansion will lead to more first round upsets and make it harder to advance. The really weak teams get weeded out in the play-in games.
The play-in teams competed pretty well over the years; some getting to the final four (once at our expense)

I've been following the Stokes saga this entire time, and I do so by blogging both KU and UK ball. The BBN is a rare breed. They make Mizzou fans seem tame. Thank God our fanbase has a bit more class and also has limited fanaticism. The BBN tormented Stokes this entire time... piercing what limited privacy he had and harrassed him constantly. So when you read about Stokes smacking down UK, you know why. Stokes is a fighter! I know we were all high on our dawg last year, but Stokes is on a different level. Some say he goes overboard because he'll rip his own teammates and coaches a new one at times. It's the next level of dawg. Hopefully, we will all adjust to this level of scrap. BBN a rare breed? You don't say. When we went to the 2012 championship game we were way high up in the stratosphere in a very neutral section. Right in front of us were a bunch of kentucky fans who decided to stand. People behind them, including us asking them to sit down. One kid I asked to sit and he pointed to the scoreboard video screen and told me I could watch it up there. Mind you I'm old enough to be his father, heck in Kentucky, old enough to be his grandfather.

Enough for someone decent is my understanding. If they think Bashir is decent that's an issue. Every KSU fan I know is making fun of KU for this and I can't even argue.

It's all class dependent. So in this class yes he is but it's a bad class. The #2 guy this year wouldn't have cracked the top 10 last year. Stokes likely would have still been top 5 last year.

I'm stoked to have a can't miss player. A potential first NBA draft pick who can lead us to an 11 loss season and a first weekend exit in the NCAA Tournament. Oh wait - we've already done that...
