Were blessed very true, plus we are very spoiled fans. We have rough stretch’s and we panic - - -me included, lots of 2nd guessing goes on , from players to Coach’s to Ma Kettle cooking possum. Like has been mentioned by BShark when you think about it every team goes through rough stretch’s at some point. Hell Kentucky lost to South Carolina last night , not only lost but got curb stomped by 17- - Kentucky is/or was the 6th ranked team and got curb stomped. Kentucky fans are ready to string Coach Cal up- -from one loss. They do that after every loss. Just the nature of fans I guess. – When we lose , just doesn’t happen that often and when we do - - people think the moon going to fall from the night sky, the Earth stands still - -It’s going to be ok , I’m telling myself that just as much for myself as anyone else , these are 19-20 yr old kids— -it happens. Like I posted earlier, saw last night that this year the top ten ranked teams have lost twenty two times to unranked teams, the most in AP history, We just got to bring our A game – night in – -Night out

I also find it contradictory that @kuballin10 says he doesn’t create for others but follows it up with an example of him moving the ball to get someone else an open shot, describes him completing a difficult post entry pass for an easy bucket, and then explains how he creates for others in the pick and roll. Those are all creating for others AND show an attacking mentality. I didn’t watch all of the OSU game but do feel in the last few INCLUDING the loss to UCF Juan has been hunting his shot with a few floaters and drives trying to score. And like it or not, Juan is a gamer. He rises to the occasion when he’s most needed. He single handedly flipped the script in several games on the way to and including the National Championship so he will forever have my respect as a baller. Is he a perfect point guard? No. But no one is. This team has the tools to win 6 games in March and Juan is one of those tools. He’s not a swiss army knife, but he generally does what he’s needed to do pretty well. These Hawks also have the potential to lose in the first or second round. While this is always true, this year especially, this team has some vaulted ceilings. They can look really pretty but are really far from the floor and can be a struggle heat in cool in extreme weather.

He allows the defense to get set up when he slowly walks the ball up the court, every time. I just wish he could push the pace more to put pressure on the defense, but maybe he doesn’t have the energy to play 38 minutes and there is no good backup option. Dejuan is playing slow because 3 of the 5 starters are playing 35+ mpg since the first couple of games and Hunter is playing 30+ mpg. That’s why Dejuan is playing slow. We don’t have enough depth to give anyone but Hunter a break during games so playing slow is how Dejuan, KJ, and McCullar get their quick breathers.

  I’m happy that Kevin is shooting and making his free throws with 78 made at a very nice 83.9% rate. This is 50 more makes than Hunter or KJ. Since Kevin came back to raise his draft stock, I guess, one thing the NBA tracks and values is percentage of finishes at the rim and it seems to me Kevin has an opportunity to get more “and ones” than he is getting now. No one is tougher than Kevin and he sacrifices himself every game but if he would complete say for comparisons sake two more at the rim makes and hit the free throw that adds two more points and would up his conference leading scoring average to 22.1 and get him even closer to first team AA status.

  @benshawks08 golf was an extreme love/hate relationship for me. When I first started, I was on fire. I mean really very good. I played every single day for two years. Then the smarter I got, the more I learned, the worse I played. At the end of my golf career I was so smart I could throw my clubs further than I could hit the ball.

There’s a bottom to the league in West Virginia, Oklahoma St & UCF but KU has to play all 3 of them on the road so none of them will be easy on paper. I think there’s 3 or 4 more that aren’t that good but have good records until the meat of conference play exposes their weaknesses. This league will have at minimum 6 NCAA bids, possibly 10 or 11 depending on how it goes. It’s still crazy 10 would be the max. The Big 12 has 10 teams in the top 50 of the NET rankings right now. With conference play starting, there won’t be many radical changes up or down.

  @drgnslayr agree he would struggle at the next level. I dont know if UConns big isnt quick footed but that game there were a couple possessions where it seemed like Hunters feet were faster and he recovered from challenging a shot to get the rebound quickly. I wonder if there is an effort or conditioning component to his footspeed that can still be unlocked.
