  Yes it could be easily argued that BD hit the two most important buckets of the game, plus great D in the clutch. Plus that CONFIDENCE he had to be the guy!! I SWORE he was gonna pass it out to the perimeter, instead he went up against two NC bigs and made the shot. MASSIVE. And… we don’t win this tourney without Remy. Period. When he picked Kansas last year, this is exactly the Remy that we were all hoping he would bring. Fearless shooting.

Guess I got spoiled when the Kingdome was still around and we’d have Final Fours every so often. Did make it to the 1984 (Georgetown w/Patrick Ewing) and 1995 (UCLA) finals there, plus the 2005 one in St. Louis (UNC). That’s okay…we’ll have a big turnout tonight at our alumni watch party. Over 150 showed up on Saturday!

  Just watched CBS March Madness 360… they are ALL about the Heels! It won’t even be necessary to play this game because UNC has been declared National Champions! I’m about to puke! They make it sound like beatdown!

All the things you noticed about the issues that have been a concern and the positives with this team I have whined about in this venue.   @mayjay I think that was one of those ankle turns that was more scary than painful. The real question is what happens to it today. As far as guarding their guards I think we will likely just switch a lot like normal until we see who has the hot hand and then throw Juan on him to try and clamp him down. Either or both love and Davis can be dangerous and I would NOT want to triangle and two Carolina with manek having free reign to float around and catch and shoot. It will take a team effort on d. Thankfully that’s what we’ve been getting from the guys this tournament.
