  Our record is not good in these situations, and OU can attack from anywhere on the court. Will be a high-flying game, but one we should win if we play anywhere near our talent level. All top 10+ teams are going to lose at least 2-3+ more games this year, so right now, #1 schmumber-one. Rock Chalk!

  that’s awesome, love it. Can you imagine tomorrow night, the atmosphere, how loud it’s going to be, the video, the place will be nuts. Looking for a war. As far as the announcer, I have no problems with the way he is introducing, seems to be the theme across the nation, doesn’t bother me, couple of the players have their own little way of coming out too, during their intrdo- - -DeVonte- - Wayne it’s allright mix it up have a lil fun with it ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  @wissoxfan83 I mostly agree. I can’t stand Musburger and Vitale has become a cartoon character and Duke cheerleader but you have to have some respect for one of the few men that has coached HS, college and the NBA.

  @Second-Prize Guess you’re not one to discuss the in’s and out’s of game, huh? Just Que sera, sera. I’d be interested in your jayhawk history. Personally, I love the give and take of this site and have learned so much. Now I’m able to watch the game with a more discerning eye because people do question moves, point out tendencies and then alternative ways of approaching an issue. Sure sometimes it gets over the top, but really, why else do come to a site like this? To hear “great game” or “rough game” and the blah, blah, blah of a post-game interview where everyone tries to say nothing. Great coaches and players watch lots of tape to break down tendencies and strategies. You think Coaches don’t have those same things that become part of the success and failures that teams have. That is what I see occur on this site, breaking down those things in a quest for greater excellence.

  @justanotherfan 1979 was a 40 team tournament. The top 6 seeds did not play 1st round games. It took 3 wins to get to the Final Four. Definitely not a crapshoot. Current format of 68 team is.

  @DCHawker, @brooksmd - good point and observation. I agree those guys have improved on the D. I want to see more points scored off of our D. Often times, I see we score pts out of fastbreaks, but other times I see the team struggle finishing at the rim. I hope they’ll improve on that end, too.
