  I can think of three very obvious things Marcus can do to improve his shooting stats this year without changing his form… First… he needs confidence! That plays a huge role in bringing up numbers. It only takes the slightest hesitation to kill a shot. Marcus has to realize that just deciding he feels confident will begin improving his shot. If he needs any help with this he should chat with KJ. Man… he’s never afraid to take a shot from anywhere! Second… he should rethink his focus. Is his vision okay? Maybe worth an eye test. He needs to think more about where he is focusing… back of the rim? An overall vision of the rim? Does he envision a pathway for the ball? Third… he has to learn to relax on his shot. His arms should feel like spaghetti. Soft stroke. Follow through…

  @Kcmatt7 Yep - good point, it is a quite old thread which has been added to. I guess I’m a bit too thin-skinned when it comes to Garrett. I love the guy despite his shortcomings. Now I gotta try to warm up to Grimes and not be biased So far just disappointed in him.

  @BShark Not possible. They never touched him. It’s been an issue for weeks really. Teams are guarding Dedric with a ton of physicality and he’s not getting half the calls he should.

  @Kcmatt7 I’m still weary of where this is all going but I’ve voiced my support for players to have more control in the past so I’ll stand by that now despite the crazy amount of kids hoppin from one place to the next. Coaches have done it for a long time so it only seems fair players have the same opportunity. A good example this week is The Oklahoma QB who wanted to transfer to West Virginia but OU was not releasing him fully to go there, despite being a graduate transfer, that is until they landed Jalen Hurts to be their QB and then it was OK. Coincidence…yeah right.

  @Texas-Hawk-10 I agree. Hard to discount his contribution in our National Championship, too. Devon has such an ability to execute, to stay disciplined and focused, show poise, and follow Self’s instructions. What more could we want from our PG? And to be just a freshman… unreal!
