  @Fightsongwriter Not a lot of luster to that no matter how much it gets polished. Sorry @Crimsonandblue12 Diallo is just potential unrealized at all levels. The only thing he’s reached his potential for is interesting conversation. I hope no one tries to prove me wrong.

Dealing with state labor law when they already run events in 20+ states at the same time? Absolutely impossible.

  KU is now #4 in Kenpom Rankings. #10 offense #6 defense If they keep playing like they are those numbers will continue to rise. There are only 4 teams hovering with Top 10 in both metrics- KU, Ohio St, Duke, Louisville. The Big-12 has 3 of the Top 10 defenses in the country (KU, Baylor, Tech). 8 of 10 ranked in the Top 50. Only 5 of the 10 rank in the Top 50 on offense. KU & Baylor are the only teams in the Top 30. Translation- there will be some ugly basketball games in the Big-12 this year.

  Generally, I don’t subscribe much to rankings, especially early in the season. Like others have said, the Top 5-10 teams are often interchangeable and the ranks do tend to be used as promotional tools. That said, after everything this team, this coach and these players have had to deal with recently from the NCAA on down, getting the #1 ranking in spite of it all, to me, is a giant middle finger to the whole establishment. And I hope we wave that finger high and proud and as close to the smug face of the machinery as humanly possible. Kudos, boys! Now put the foot down firmly onto the neck and slowly apply the pressure.

Allen is really night and day different from a non conference game like Milwaukee to a high profile conference game like Tech, KSU or something. My first game was 09 vs Texas on senior day for the big 12 title out right. Still is the best game experience for me at Allen because we came back late and won. My ears rang all the way home that night. If I remember right we kept getting it down to 2 or 3, then they’d stretch it back out to 8. We got it back to 2 with a couple minutes to go, Sherron got a steal and Brady hit a 3 to give us our first since early on and the place went completely bananas. Texas who was good back then had no idea what the hell hit them. I hope you had a good time, I can’t wait til my boy is ready to go to a game with me. The Sprint Center game felt like an NBA game. Just seeing countless games in Allen on TV I could tell the difference. The opponent wasn’t any good either which I don’t think helped the activity level of the fans. Everyone knew this was a blowout in the making. I will definitely be going back next year for a game in Allen where I’ll be able to compare how different the two are. Bummed I won’t see this years squad in Allen because I do think this is a fun squad to watch

  We are going to see Marcus on his senior night (And I will be wearing my number 0 Garrett jersey while I watch), And he will be an overseas player, hopefully bank some good $, (a lot of those teams pay all the taxes on your salary and give you housing and transportation ), and eventually he will get into coaching … he will either work for Self, or Self will make sure he gets into a good coaching situation

  @BeddieKU23 Temple in 2014 and Arizona St. in 2017. We did beat Georgetown I remember in Wiggins year, won vs. Stanford on the road, and last year against whoever we played.
