  I like Braun’s demeanor, his expression never seems to change and while figuring out the flow I think that he just understands the game - you know, knowing the shot clock, the ebb and flow and what is needed. In short, he steps up and doesn’t shy away.

  @kjayhawks Your right turnover margin has dipped lately, 18.6% which is about half a point below national average. It may continue to dip as we play 4 guards now and get away from the two big lineup that was the major cause. Braun is in the top 60 nationally for turnover rate (really good) so inserting a guard with a very low T/O rate has made a big difference. Will be interesting to revisit this development by end of conference play. This could be the mid-season flip that makes all the difference in the season

  @bskeet Looks to me like the refs are paid by ESPN and make sure East Coast is always on top! Just kidding… Kind of. Funny considering in the NBA the West is usually stronger. Roy’s trajectory as a coach would make it seem that it is easier to win the big dance from the east as he had lots of successful years here with nada and then moves east and bags 3. I don’t think he is that much better of a coach at UNC than he was here.

  @kjayhawks Yeah they are young as well. The Boone brothers look like they have promise. Likekele is a poor man’s Garrett who can’t shoot, Anei was a ghost against Doke and really hasn’t pushed forward since about end of November. It’s going to be interesting to see just how good Cunningham makes them because they don’t seem to have enough currently or signed with him to make a big leap

  Let me start and say first that in no way am I implying that I would want him by any means but more just out of Curiousity What do you think of Leonard Hamilton? - -Seems like he found his home at Florida St , been there for some time , seems like his team runs decent offense. This year # 5 in the Nation - - 17-2 on the year & 7-1 in the ACC. - Has pretty competitive teams pretty constantly, again I am not even beginning to say I would want him here, just curious what others think of him. I remember when he was at Oklahoma St

  Beard is a good coach, Tech is an extremely inexperienced team this season and Beard still has them playing a pretty high level of defense. If the offense clicks for them at any point this season, they’re a top level B12 program. Tech is a difficult program to recruit to and Beard has brought in good talent and will have Tech being a consistent B12 contender if he’s there long enough.
