Luckily plenty of snow to melt in the tub for flushing the toilets and we’d been saving up water just in case. been there done that. - -some years back had a really bad ice storm- was without power for like a week. - - I was going out and scooping snow out of my yard and putting in an ice chest to try and keep some food cold. - -was able to buy a little bit of bagged ice cause the entore city wasn’t without the entire time. - - I remember neighbors using generators - - not fun

I know some Iowa St fans that are hoping they go winless in conference so Prohm gets fired. I Can’t say I blame them. That being said, we were a 15-point favorite and we won by 33. So good job there. Just need to keep developing players (emphasis on Thompson, Braun, Jalen, and I wish Enaruna would play more) and hopefully start putting together some win streaks. I still think it will be a LITTLE more competitive game in Ames tomorrow - not saying how much but I think they will have some added fight, not wanting a repeat and actually they had played fairly well against others before last night recently. I do think in our game they kind of gave up not much there, just got this feel might be a little different

Dave doesn’t need to have fewer touches for everybody else to have more. Yes. Passing feels like the key problem for this team. The poor shooting has been confounding because I have seen Abaji and Braun pour in 3s in the past… This year it is a struggle and I think that is because the defense seems to be on them. Percentages between open and covered 3s are vastly different… and these guys are covered a lot, so there are more rushed and forced 3s. Better passing can open up guys on the perimeter before defenders can get there. It can also create lanes for driving and opportunities to pass to the interior… If I could pick one thing to improve, I think it would be passing because I think it would in turn relieve many other woes. The question I haven’t been able to answer is why is this team struggling with passing so much? You got it, pass and pass, and pass some more.

  @BeddieKU23 Player PER’s support that Dave should be the top option for KU. His PER for the year is 25.3 and it’s been even better in B12 games at 30.7 which is in Doke territory from last year. His FG% is north of 50% in Big 12 games. Ochai is the current top option based on FGA and scoring, but it really needs to be Dave. Dave should be taking at least 15 shots per game at this point and I wouldn’t mind him taking 20 shots per game right now. He needs to be scoring 20 a game for KU at this point.

  @Kcmatt7 I mean if he was really looking to flip the roster 3 at least and you sell your soul for the top guard transfers that hit or get lucky some top level guard is available in the spring. Its all about bringing in guards and getting Thompson Ochai and Wilson developed further. Its such a guard game now and he has to get himself some dudes

  @jayhawks2010 There’s a big difference between knowing stuff happens and being able to prove something is happening. Hell, the NCAA hasn’t been able to prove shit against most programs until the FBI got involved. Bill Self can’t just go and subpoena phone and text records of Duke and UK assistant coaches. Coaches may talk at AAU events, but they aren’t talking about payments to players while sitting in the bleachers because they aren’t stupid enough to do something like that. Those conversations happen in the privacy in hotel rooms where there’s no witnesses to be able to prove anything happened.
