  I’d like to see Vick watch old Laker games with Michael Cooper. There is a lot he could quickly pick up on from another thin player who was athletic. I’m in on the Vick fan club!

  Dedric is #2 in Kenpoms POTY race. Obviously it’s early. And that is including the total clunker against Vermont. Against MSU and Louisiana he was average but considering his very high usage you take the production. He was out of this world against Marquette and Tennessee. Oh and @wissox he is behind some guy you might have heard of, Ethan Happ.

  Self’s comments regarding Udoka completely ignores the bigger issue (he may have commented, though, and it didn’t make the story). And it has nothing to do with an opponent’s attempts. We can’t put a complete curtain around the perimeter. As their coach said, their game plan was more attempts. The issue is the quality of the three point attempts. The open nature of the attempts. Sound familiar? Villanova?

  Now I understand the flagrant foul for hooking in the paint. I first saw it called in another game and didn’t see anything, just two players side by side waiting for a rebound. But, the replay shows Mitch with his arm entwined with the Cagin player. Clearly, wrapping the other player’s upper arm is an effort to limit his ability to rebound. Hooking will be cleaned up in a couple of weeks. As a TV viewer, it’s very hard to see unless you know what to look for.
