  @chriz Strap the right one to his waist with plywood and duct tape, and just plant him right outside the restricted zone for D. His one hand would improve our interior defense 100% because Lucas has an injured hand, too!

  I like the prop bet that every 1 seed will win by double digits in the first round. I’d take that bet, but even that isn’t a sure thing. The tournament is a crap shoot. I look at the 1, 2, and 3 and have a hard time seeing a first round upset. History says that 2 three seeds and 1 or 2 two seeds should be upset by the second round, several of them in the first round. I haven’t watched enough basketball to see where the upset lies, but there will be several. With any luck they will open up KU’s path to the championship. An easy path would be welcome, but the guys still have to show up as the past has taught us.

  I’ve learned to pick one bracket with KU winning, then another bracket with one of the other teams. That other team is UNC. I was really feeling the UCLA thing, but then those pesky defensive numbers I looked at took me off course there (though UNC is just adequate).

  @truehawk93 I think the coaching personalities needed for the NBA are quite different than those for college. In college assistant coaches tell the players what to do and they do it. In the NBA assistants suggest to the players what to do and players, who all make more money than the coaches, tell them if they feel like doing it…or not.

  I just think Carlton needs to be more committed to staying focused the entire time he is on the court. I think his biggest issue is focus. One sure sign is his inability to GRAB the ball! So many rebounds are right there in front of him and he can’t grab the ball. The ball is like a greased pig. Players don’t just have bad hands. His hands are fine. His ability to stay in deep focus is the problem. We are a very different team from last year. The ball moves quicker and our offensive aggressiveness is shown in more complex ways. Drives coming from all over the place, etc. So Carlton had to raise his level of focus just to stay even on where he was last year. It looks like he is slowly catching on to the pace and other factors. Just not sure he can accomplish much in as many as 6 games. A huge help to his focus is adrenaline. When he came back from his last suspension, he had a monster game. That was adrenaline talking. The adrenaline not only helped his focus but also helped his motor. So… HOW do we get his adrenaline back up to that level for every game moving forward? Figure that one out and we will benefit bigly.

  @hawkmoon2020 Ya as I mentioned earlier, I always pull for all Big 12 teams when it comes to the NCAA tourney, mainly because the more wins we get, the tougher our conference looks. This way people talk smack, we have something to back us up with, we have to stop the early collapse of our league in this tourney. - -Hopefully this is the year. - I truly believe K-State will beat Cincinnati , they really struggle to score, I also believe Oklahoma State has a good shot against Michigan, they was just talking on Sports Center like Michigan is like the 3rd worse defensive stats against the shooing pct of the opposition - -and it should be an awesome matchup with Okla St back court, Evans could do some real damage. - -Carrol go off, Forte go off. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
