@JoJoAndMe for sure and I have a lot of opinions on it. But I’m not ruining this awesome thread on the great season this team is having with it lol.

It’s about 2.5 hours for me but would be thousands to take the whole family. Not to get too deep into inflation but I remember going to KU football games for $10, $8 for baseball and $50 for basketball. The kicker is I’m only 38 (almost) and didn’t go to a KU sporting event that I paid for til I was 20. Reminds of going to Sam’s Club with my grandma and her saying how she remembered everything being half of what it used to be. One of the issues is I’m saying that now in my 30s with almost every item on shelve and she was saying in here late 60s/ early 70s.

I know we have made the CWS before but this the biggest win in the history of Hoglund ballpark and becomes one of, if not the best season in the history of Kansas baseball.

We finally beat Arkansas in a post season game!! I thought we did great not using a ton of pitchers and are setup as well as we can be for tomorrow.

@Texas-Hawk-10 right that’s why I said pending how it goes. I’d bet good money if we beat Arkansas we have to again

I think we may have to have an upgrade for The Hog here before too long. I hope they keep it there on campus

A nice win!! I had it on my phone most the afternoon. We will play the winner of MO state and Arkansas tomorrow. It’s important to remember this is a double elimination regional so we have to beat the same team twice pending on how it’s goes. Both winners will play and both losers will play eliminating one team. Then the 1-0 bracket game loser will play the winner of the elimination game.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I thought the seeding was a little strange so you have KU B12 double champs behind an 8th place SEC team. I get the SEC is dominant in baseball winning I believe 7 of the last 8 World Series but my god that seems suspect.

@nuleafjhawk the Royals have been a huge disappointment lucky with all the streaming crap I can only watch a few games. It was so nice when they were on Fox sports Midwest. I’ve decided I’m not buying anymore streaming stuff so if it’s not on espn plus or sling I ain’t watching.

Pitching definitely got out of some jambs in that one, good to see and looks like we have a mojo back heading into the tournament.

The Hawks just beat OSU for a shot at the B12 tournament championship. Would be nice to get WVU and give them a loss after. A few weeks ago

I’m just rolling on in the sad state of affairs known as the world in 2026. Keeping busy with summer sports and activities. Trying my best to raise my kids like it’s the 80s and 90s.

They don’t make them like they used to, maybe Stephen King doesn’t write like he used too either lol. Shawshank, The Green Mile and Stand By Me are three of the best movies ever IMO.
