Just thinking about how sad the 17 in a row is vs KSU. Klein was a player when the he streak started, tried to make it as a pro, didn’t came back as a GA, then an assistant, then coordinator, then left and now is coming back as Head coach all before we have beat them.

Council implements a jump stop and makes 75% of his shots at the hoop while Tiller regains form from distance hitting 3 treys on tiggers. Bill Self has jokes at the press conference about last seasons loss in Columbia, that the smell didn’t bother the team it was the burning of their eyes effecting the game in that cage they call a gym.

@approxinfinity @drgnslayr @nuleafjhawk thats the issue it’s not about academics, tradition, hell id even argue it has much less to do with basketball. It’s about money and only money for most. I bet 90% of our roster would go elsewhere for more money tomorrow. AFH isn’t the problem, I was told by several people the atmosphere was top tier Tuesday evening. One of two things is going on either we aren’t good at evaluating talent and are paying the wrong guys. Or we don’t have NIL to compete with the UConn, Duke, UNC and several others. I’ve gone back and forth with which it is, Most likely a little of both. Let me ask ya’ll outside of the last few seasons, when has Kansas not had hands down the best roster in the conference? How about a top 5-10 roster in the Country? I’m not sure I can remember not having hands down the best team in the conference since its inception before 2024. Id trade our roster all day for Duke or UNC prob Houston or Arizona maybe BYU.

I keep hearing his camp is the hold, Self thought he would play last night and his group is saying let’s wait and see. If that’s the case his group is going to end up costing him millions.

I know ESPN makes it a point to show Hurley freaking out on the sideline between every play but it's absolutely 100% cringe to watch his behavior. It just looks so classless and isn't a good look. Shades of seizure boy known as Bruce Weber, he’s still the only coach to contact an opposing player and not get a tech that I’ve ever seen.

He seemed to be struggling with the fans hardcore this year. They act they are OSU or Bama and a 6-6 record is just appalling to them. Will be interesting to see how Klein fairs and how quick they turn on him.

@approxinfinity I’m not a doctor but I believe tears to be much worse than sprains from what I’ve seen

@nuleafjhawk @approxinfinity thats what makes it hard and frustrating. We have zero idea if it is a sprain or partial tear that would be that 6-8 weeks area. With Bill saying he is day to day and almost a 100% I’d lean towards it’s a bad sprain at this point. If not it’s turned into smoke and mirrors

Let’s all try to be supportive of DP at this point. It sucks all around, @rcjhdraft I’d guess he’s outta the top 10 if the draft happened tomorrow. Most of the mock drafts haven’t been updated since play started. Wilson at UNC and Boozer look like better players at this point and several others are close. The article I showed on the old site that espn did last week didn’t list DP has a top 10 freshman right now and I agree. He has to play to be a top 10 freshman.

My 14 year old had a minor hamstring tear and is an elite soccer player for his age, and it took about 6-8 weeks to fully heal.

You just can't explode with a hamstring injury.

I would encourage every to temper their expectations of what DP can bring not only in terms of a minute restriction but his explosivity when he returns.

I’m just tired of hearing he’s the best player in the Self era, he has a lot to prove to get into that category. Numerous B12 players of the year, lottery picks and championships. He has looked good but I’m could name prob 15 players in a drunken stupor I’d rather have on this team from the Self era right now. In terms of his explosiveness I’m hoping that’s why they are waiting for him to be a 100% but he will likely need to get back into game shape and that could take a good few weeks.

Need to lock the guards in the gym over Christmas break and do nothing but layups and 3s.

Any of the stat folks remember the last time we let up less than 65 at home and lost? Thats prob the biggest disappointment to me is 2019 will remain the last undefeated season in Allen. Feeling like the building has lost it identity here the last few seasons. Seems like we lose 2 or 3 games just like most other power 4 decent teams
