I’m just rolling on in the sad state of affairs known as the world in 2026. Keeping busy with summer sports and activities. Trying my best to raise my kids like it’s the 80s and 90s.

@FarmerJayhawk I’m sure there are several folks very happy with their care. I sometimes laugh how in the minority I am on certain subjects. I don’t know a ton of people, in fact outside of my Buckets family. I’m not sure if I know a person that doesn’t believe we need major changes in the healthcare industry.

@FarmerJayhawk glad your doing better never been to LMH health before. I have never had an even remotely positive visit to any doctor in my life. My wife has had 3 knee surgeries in the past 16 months. They still cant figure it out after paying 10s of thousands of dollars to them. They’ll still hop in their BMWs and Benz’s drive to their multi million dollar estates like nothing happened. I come from an automotive/construction back ground. If some puts a new roof on your house and it still leaks, they are redoing it for free or going to court. Medical field should be similar IMO, screw it up repeatedly. It should be on your dime not mine. If other businesses were that way, they be closed after 6 months. Just my two cents on the matter I’ll add in my buddies in the military get ever procedure they can done outside of this country.

@mayjay that’s scary and exactly why I go to the doctor about once every 8 years. They aren’t trained to fix a dang thing, just to prescribe all sorts of stuff so they can get their kick backs from big pharma. There is a reason elites go to other countries for medical care.

KU bests lowly Arizona 4-2 at a sold out Hog. Ku has a 3 game lead over ASU and a 4 Game lead on WV with 8 games remaining. 2 more this weekend against Arizona, one of the worst teams in major college ball. They have won 19 of the last 20 games but can’t afford to drop anything to a bad team.

Just to paraphrase comments I have read here.....

After how last year went with the number 1 guy, I can blame one for being cautious. I still stand behind me saying it was a bubble team without Stokes. We are probably a safe bet to make the NCAA Tournament with this roster but I see no chance in competing for a Natty or even conference title at this point.

Stokes is a difference maker just by being more aggressive than DP. But as it stands now we haven't cracked the top 30 yet in the polls I have seen. I'm thinking Stokes will go elsewhere and by now has made it clear he thinks it's just business first. If a team cannot average 85 points and win the rebound battle you are down in the 5/6 seed scrum. The coaching is just too good anymore and evidently we are not rich enough to do much more than this. Maybe Taylen Kinney has just enough pull on TS. I hope that I am completely wrong. Tiller will have one really good game next season and Flory will not be the savior for Louisville but I wish all of our big men had stayed.

Everyone at this point is just going to go to the highest bidder. Nothing else matters whether it’s coaching pedigree, venue or academics. Florys deal is supposedly worth more than 7 million. They can have him for that all day IMO.
